The fund's pessimism is based on the fact that years of low interest rates after the 2008 global financial crisis led to irrational allocation of capital. This, in turn, has stopped investment in more promising and profitable activities

And over the past three years Biden’s open border policies were among the biggest contributors to making the massive influx possible

The critics are mistaken about all this, and Americans should have the confidence to ignore them
