You know, being Ukrainian is really fucking fun nowadays.

First you hear from people that the invasion of your country was justified — after all, invading an unrelated state because of NATO expansion makes perfect sense.

Then a person from a country with literal fascist parties having significant support of a general population starts telling you that your country has a massive nazi problem, which is why you don't deserve support. That massive nazi problem is, of course, represented in the Ukrainian government, where far-right parties score roughly 0 seats.

Let's unwind and see how the world of culture is doing. Photography? A picture of a Ukrainian child in a bomb shelter is considered a great pair to a picture of an injured ruski who came here to kill her family, loot her house and abduct her to russia. Movies? Literal russian propaganda being shown on festivals because “we need to hear both sides”. All of this while russians are destroying your culture both metaphorically via appropriation and literally with bullets and bomb shells.

Self-absorbed asshole on the other side of the world signs a death sentence for both Ukrainian soldiers and civilians because apparently your president didn’t thank him enough. After all, withholding military shipments and intelligence is a perfectly valid move when someone has mildly annoyed you.
