Maybe we don't need Psychedelics 🤯?

Breathwork is not a new technique but more and more people demonstrating an interest and progress in this space.

"The technique, as Ocean Eagle says, aims to activate the body on a cellular level, balancing oxygen and carbon dioxide levels "properly." This releases DMT in the brain, he claims, allowing participants to enter a psychedelic state naturally. "

While there is still a discussion if DMT can be released in the brain the breathwork can definitely bring DMT-like states.

"Breathwork helped me release 25 years of trauma that I was holding on to. I just didn't even know what hit me." Luhar said.

Eating disorder? Take Ketamine 😅

Psychedelic-assisted therapy for eating disorders is an even newer frontier—and one begging for solutions. Eating disorders have the second-highest mortality rate among all mental health disorders, and one in five anorexia deaths is a result of suicide.

P.S. I knew people who stopped eating sweets after MDMA ;)

The worst Bad trip ever 😅

Let's ask AI to draw the worst bad trip ever.

Not that bad, comparing to real bad trips but I'll be happy to have the last image as a big painting at home 🔥

Jews and Psychedelics what can be better 😅

One more Psychedelics book released this year, actually just a month ago, please stooop, how can I find so much time to read them all 😅

"Exile & Ecstasy: Growing Up with Ram Dass & Coming of Age in the Jewish Psychedelic Underground" by journalist/editor Madison Margolin.

In this article Margolin discusses why she wrote the memoir and the challenges she faces promoting this book at a time when the Israel/Hamas war rages on and antisemitism escalates worldwide.

"Margolin: I most enjoy writing about fun and colorful scenes, such as Hasidic psytrance parties or ayahuasca circles in upstate New York and Brooklyn. As far as what was problematic, I found it hard to write about the ‘underground’ while keeping it underground"

Dealers added Fentanyl to DMT 😢

Shiiiit there should be a special place in hell for such people.

What we believe is they’re trying to get people that are in the market for a psychedelic drug hooked on fentanyl and meth because they’ll take it thinking they want the psychedelic high and when they’re done, they’re hooked on the other drug,” said Fornoff.

ADHD + Microdosing = Mindfulness

New study on effects of Microdosing for ADHD people looks promising.

Personally agree 😅

Point 1

"Participants completed various psychological assessments, including the Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaire (FFMQ-15) for mindfulness and the Big Five Inventory (BFI-10) for personality traits. "

Point 2

"After 2 and 4 weeks of microdosing, participants reported increased levels of mindfulness compared to baseline. Specifically, they showed improvements in facets such as observation, denoscription, acting with awareness, non-judging of inner experience,
and non-reactivity to inner experiences."

Point 3:

The bad thing is that there are participants with unpleasant experience, but wait, it means that Microdosing actually works ;) despite many attempts to call it placebo 😅

"But the study had some limitations, including a high dropout rate and potential bias due to participants who did not have a pleasant microdosing experience."

Ukraine is moving to right direction 🔥

Well it's in the government level now, looks very promising.

“Today we have 13 trauma therapists who can work with psychedelic assisted therapy. … We need 300,”

Quote 1:

“We have this catastrophic challenge ahead,” Dmytro Gurin, a Ukrainian MP in President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's Servant of the People party and member of the country’s health committee, told a meeting of MEPs at the European Parliament on Tuesday. “And such challenges, they need bold decisions.”

Quote 2:

"Gurin is pitching that Ukraine's large population of trauma sufferers means the country could become a research center for MDMA-assisted therapies. He'd like EU financial support for Ukraine to develop a nationwide clinical trial to test MDMA-assisted therapy as a first treatment for trauma, rather than as a last resort, as is normally recommended.

Quote 3:

His solution is to set up a training center in the safe city of Uzhhorod, which borders Slovakia. From here, he said, Ukrainian therapists can be trained for Ukrainian cases: understanding the tortures and traumas of war.

Ketamine for heartbreak and Burnout

Sold😁
Shut up and take my money 🤑

"Emotional wounds like rejection and failure can be even more devastating than physical wounds, yet we don't give them the same time and attention,"

"I'm thrilled to combine my techniques for emotional first aid with ketamine therapy, which has been shown to increase neuroplasticity and help build emotional resilience"

Want some K therapy ? 😃

Podcast on MDMA therapy and more

Very insightful podcast with one of the "OG"'s of psychedelic therapy.

Some notes:

Trauma's have different effects (and approachesbto cure) at different ages

Ifs, and EMDR are the best psychotherapy methods so far before psychedelics

DSM was just created to somehow test drug research and should not be used as a diagnosis

MDMA therapy also make you less tolerant to what you think other people think of you

MDMA help people to be less identified with trauma. Instead of "I'm a Vietnam veteran" -> "I'm a human being experienced complex event."

MDMA therapy model super promising but practically very expensive( 36 hours of therapist's total) and may be not scalable.

Group therapy with Ketamine might have more potential in reality for broader accessibility

Somatic self awareness ( mind-body connection)  in 2 days before therapy can significantly decrease the dose especially for people who have low mind body connection.

A new type of Psilocybin

So what is Drysdale’s secret weapon to bring even more therapeutic value to psilocybin? It’s a process called deuteration. It focuses on the hydrogen atoms in psilocybin. These atoms are very light and don’t stick very well to carbon, which is another atom in psilocybin. As a result, our bodies can easily breaks down the bonds between the hydrogen and carbon atoms. For many people, that means psilocybin gets cleared from the body too quickly, before it can have a therapeutic benefit.

In deuteration, scientists do something simple but ingenious: they replace the hydrogen atoms with a molecule called deuterium. It’s twice as heavy as hydrogen and forms tighter bonds with the carbon. Because these pairs are so rock-steady, they slow down the rate at which psilocybin is metabolized, so it has more sustained effects on our brains.

Beta-carbolines - WTF?

You always leaning... I thought I Know at least most of the classes of Psychedelic compounds but here we are, another category that was new for me - beta-carbolines. I knew that it's a part of original Ayahuasca but haven't paid much attention yet.

For me the most important is that they have effects exactly what I was looking for! Something that can help you to change your state into more calm and meditative but just a little bit. Weed and Ketamine are capable of doing it but still have other side effects for this particular task .

I wish that beta-carbolines are exactly what i was looking for. Will try 😁

Woooot😁

If all goes well, it’s possible that FDA approval for the prenoscription use of MDMA-assisted therapy for PTSD could take place around August 2024, with DEA rescheduling legally required to take place within 90 days after FDA approval

Hey fellow founders we have a "prenoscription"

"Investor Eddy Vaisberg, 33, told Business Insider ayahuasca could help founders gain better insights into themselves and others — and boost their creativity.

Thank you, mister investor, we know 😂, it can also help founders to quit this rat race ;) be careful.
