HPPD or hallucinogen persisting perception disorder.
Just recently though if there are any good studies on this "flashbacks" phenomenon and here they are:
"One of the most notable findings was the correlation between first-time psychedelic use and an increase in unusual visual experiences. Participants who had never before used psychedelics but did so during the study period reported a greater increase in these experiences than individuals who had used psychedelics previously. This suggests that naivety to psychedelics may predispose individuals to more pronounced visual disturbances, highlighting a potential area of concern for first-time users

Brain organoids breakthrough 😊
"Scientists have created brain “organoids” for years, but there are limitations to the tiny, lab-grown cultures. One of the most frustrating issues is a lack of control over their design, which often limits an organoid’s functionality and use. Although researchers long suspected 3D-printing could offer a solution, the workaround has so far proven difficult and ineffective. A new production breakthrough, however, could solve the longstanding barrier, and one day offer new ways of exploring treatment for diseases such as Parkinson’s and Alzeheimer’s."
And we will be finally able to test psychedelics on organoids 😊

Psychedelics and Sex ❤️
14th February is close, plan your plans accordingly 😘
These are the findings of the first known scientific investigation into the effects of psychedelics on sex by Imperial College London. questionnaire responses from almost 300 people before and after a psychedelic experience.
By combining responses from two groups – people taking psychedelics for recreational or wellness/ceremonial purposes, as well as a small group from a clinical trial assessing psylocibin (the compound found in magic mushrooms) for depression – they were able to investigate how the experience influenced a range of aspects relating to sexual functioning.
The analysis reveals that on average, people reported improvements across a range of areas of sexual function up to six months after their psychedelic experience, including their enjoyment of sex, sexual arousal, satisfaction with sex, attraction to partner, their own physical appearance, communication, and their sense of connection.

LSD, Homosexuality, WW2, Mk ultra, Weekend's history reading
"Tripping on Utopia: Margaret Mead, the Cold War, and the Troubled Birth of Psychedelic Science"
Looks like a new amazing book about psychedelics.😀
Margaret Mead was among the most famous scientists of the 20th century. Despite this, however, her role in the early history of psychedelic research has gone strangely unnoticed.
In this excerpt from my new book Tripping on Utopia, Margaret Mead, recently returned from months of anthropological fieldwork studying an apocalyptic religious movement known as the Noise on the remote island of Manus, becomes involved in the early LSD experiments of Harold Alexander Abramson—and begins planning to take the drug herself.
Mead’s most important source for information about psychedelics at this time was Dr. Harold Abramson, an allergist and expert in “psychosomatic” illnesses. Among other things, Abramson had shared with her the results of an LSD trial that resulted in what he called “loss of fear of homosexuality”: a woman racked by anxiety over her suspicion that she might be a lesbian had, under the drug, resolved her fears. Mead, who was in a committed, yearslong relationship with fellow anthropologist Rhoda Métraux by this time, absorbed this information with great interest. Perhaps LSD could speed up the rate at which global culture adapted to rapid change. Perhaps, as she wrote to herself in June 1954, the drug could be a “short cut” for pulling society “away from mysticism and escape.”

New research on LSD Microdosing
Let it be the week of LSD 🤪
It was found that 26 micrograms of LSD increased brain complexity by about 12 percent compared to a placebo, without altering consciousness.
The trials were repeated in two further groups, one with moderate (7.5 mg) and high (15 mg) doses of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) from cannabis and one with medical methamphetamine at doses of 10 mg and 20 mg. In these experiments, THC, but not methamphetamine, affected consciousness at high doses.
The team's analysis of all the trials found only the 26-microgram dose of LSD had a significant effect on neural complexity, increasing it by approximately 12 percent on average when compared to the placebo"
I've personally found 50 micrigram dose very effective for a variety of things from self-healing and meditation to sex and learning new skills. However i tried this microdosing size of approximately 20 mcg just few times and it's definitely a big room for exploring the best application for such dose.
Will soon write some guides on LSD mini-dosing 😁

How I ate 40g of Mushrooms or measuring shrooms dose.
Actually this new research on measuring Psilocilybin in mushrooms is quite important. I've recently eaten 40gramms of some mushrooms which were offered to me as one dose.
I was a bit shocked as usually it should be 10-20 times less for one dose. But as a curious researcher I gave it a try 😅.
As you can see I'm still here and alive, though I had some conversations with entities 🙃. But subjustively it was similar to one dose.
So back to the research:

Well, I'll just copy some parts of the article to give you an idea.
The podcaster then went on to add: “There’s a university in Israel – I think it’s the University of Jerusalem – that theorised that the Moses experience of the burning bush was a DMT experience.
When you say that ‘Moses saw the burning bush’, well, what kind of bush would burn that would give you a psychedelic experience? Well, the acacia tree.
“The acacia tree, which is very common to that area, is rich with DMT and how do you psychoactively acquire DMT? You smoke it.
“So you’re smoking this tree – this burning bush – and you’re seeing God, and God has brought you Ten Commandments of how to live life, which sounds like a lot of what you experience when you have the DMT experience. When you have that and you have these contact with the entities, they kind of give you guidelines on how to live.”
