I should note - the map also includes the roughly 30% WHG ancestry that EHGs had

Made some major improvements to my old ”Crown Eurasian” experimental calculator:

For those wondering, Crown Eurasian refers to non-Basal West and North Eurasians.

More changes to the Paleolithic calculator:
https://justpaste.it/c7agn
Revised the East Asia portion. It now differentiates between ANEA (Northern East Asian) and ASEA (Southeast Asian). Also added better proxies for the Australoid and Oceanian components

The star of my upcoming post on the Abashevo culture.
This young man was an Abashevo warrior who was buried with 26 other men in a mass grave under a kurgan. The Abashevo descended from the Fatyanovo culture and would lead to the formation of the Sintashta culture. They are theorized to have spoken a proto-Indo-Iranian language.
Thanks to @thechadpastoralist for his assistance on this reconstruction. I also want to thank Upasaka as well for his helpful feedback on the piece.

The model shown in the post above was made using the newly updated Ancestral calculator:

Finally fixed the Baltic HG overlap issue by adding in Central European Mesolithic samples. Now the Baltic HG will be split between WHG (which includes Central Euro Meso) and EHG. This seems to be the most reliable method so far.
The next fix will be regarding SC Asians 👍
As always, the fully updated calcs are available in the pinned message.

My first ever artistic reconstruction of a Iron Age Celt. One of the descendants of the Bell Beakers, the Iron Age Celts were heavy carriers of R1b. Their cultural influence once covered a majority of Western and Central Europe.
I created averages of the samples from various Celtic cultures (British Celts will be addressed later) in order to show a breakdown of their ancient ancestral groups.
