The trap only half printed. It didn't even TRY to print the bottom parts. Alright... alright, we can do a Mark II. And I can still use the tops.

The MKII has successfully printed. It is washing right now.

The spookyposter guards the pumpkin crop. Any cucumber beetles that come anywhere near that are going to get piped in the torso!

To make a long story short, I need to print a Mark 3. (the printer screwed me again)

The mark 3s have been printed with thicker bases this time. This time I put them upside down while they dry off.

The Mark 3s are in the curing process. They will be cured and ready to be painted yellow later today.

GM. Reminder to resin printing frens: Make sure you put your knob on your build plate, or your print will get all screwy.

Lately I'm starting to wonder if I'm cursed. There's a "bad day" and then there's "Driving Little Bastard on Friday the 13th while wearing a Sonichu Medallion with 13 black cats in the trunk" kind of bad luck. Constant misfortune has followed me all printing season, from bad resin, to failed prints drinking up my resin, and now, THREE SCRATCHES IN MY BRAND NEW VAT!

It's a good thing then, that I've run out of stuff to print for the time being.

Alright. Here's the first order of the day: the pumpkin pimp ornament. The little wireframe glasses would not print and I did NOT need a test print to tell me that. So we thickened the pimp shades to accommodate the little diamonds that I'm putting around the frame.

As a quick aside, I have set aside a future copy in case I come across some sort of clear resin that I can use for the shades. For now, they are hollow frames (and I refuse to make them "shutter shades," those things have always driven me nuts. Yeah, let me put a small cage over my eyes to simulate blinds. Obstruct my vision. Yeah, I look so cool.)
