Sex should be practiced 103 times a year - this is the frequency that gives maximum psychological comfort and strengthens relationships, scientists said.

The study showed that those who have sex twice a week have an average 24% lower risk of depressive symptoms than those who do it less than once a month.

The positive effect was particularly pronounced in people in their 20s and 30s.
