In 2012, a guy named Sam Sang got a job at the Apple Store, but at some point, a customer took a photo of his badge, and that's when it all started...
The photo with the caption "Apple — Sam Sung" quickly spread across social media and became a real meme. Apple banned Sam from communicating with customers, introducing himself, and took away his business cards.
The guy couldn't handle the meme pressure, quit his job, changed his last name to Struan, and sold his "Apple — Sam Sung" business card at auction for $2,500.
