Update from the Glushkovsky district of Kursk Oblast:
Following reports of "local clashes in Veseloe," Ukrainian forces have reportedly restarted offensive operations and are attacking from the village of Veseloe, along the Tetkino-Glushkovo road which is defended by Tula paratroopers from the 137th Airborne Regiment of the 106th Airborne Division. This regiment was recently redeployed from Koronevo, Kursk Oblast to Glushkovo.
Ukrainian forces are reportedly bringing in new reserves to the Glushkosky district which are allowing for these attacks to take place.
These assaults are being conducted from the south of Veseloe, where reserve forces are being accumulated. "Long range weapons" are actively being used by both sides.

Ukraine has reportedly redeployed the 47th mechanised brigade from the rear to Sudzha. If this is true, then from there they will likely be deployed to the western flank of the Kursk salient in an attempt to slow the Russian advance.
The 47th mechanised brigade has suffered heavy losses during its defence of the stretch of territory between Avdiivka and Pokrovsk, and is well known for their failed rotation in Ocheretyne which I regard as the main reason for the Russian breakthrough towards Pokrovsk.
They have been in the rear for only a few months, although their "Strike drone company" remained in the Pokrovsk direction. This leads me to believe that the Strike drone company will remain in Pokrovsk for the time being while the parts of the brigade which still maintain combat capability will be sent to Kursk Oblast. I seriously doubt that all of the 47th will be sent there due to the high losses that they suffered.
But let's break down what the 47th mechanised brigade looks like:
The 47th mechanised brigade contains the:
- 1st Mechanized Infantry Battalion (armed with Bradleys)
- 2nd Mechanised Infantry Battalion
- 3rd Mechanised Infantry Battalion
- 47th Tank Battalion (armed with M1 Abrams)
- 25th Separate Assault Battalion
- 26th Rifle Battalion
- 1st Self-Propelled Artillery Battalion
- 2nd Artillery Battalion
Among others
Troops from the 1st and 3rd mechanised infantry battalions were surrounded near Prohres back in late July of this year, likely resulting in many soldiers being captured, and others being wounded or killed while escaping.
The 2nd mechanised infantry battalion appears to be largely intact, as there have been no reports indicating significant events with them, although they did take part in the failed 2023 counteroffensive and likely suffered heavy casualties there before being deployed to Avdiivka.
The 47th Tank battalion has seen more than half of its Abrams destroyed in battles between Avdiivka and Pokrovsk.
The 25th Separate Assault Battalion was reportedly the last battalion to withdraw from Avdiivka, even withdrawing after the 3rd assault brigade conducted their counterattack. They were likely heavily degraded as a result of FAB strikes and conducted a very chaotic withdrawal, with many of the soldiers that were captured in the city likely being from this battalion.
The 26th rifle battalion fought alongside battalions from the 110th mechanised brigade in the villages of Keramik, Novokalynove and Arkhanhelske, north of Avdiivka. The 110th brigade was significantly degraded during battles in this area, so we can assume that the 26th rifle battalion was also hit hard.
There isn't much information on the 1st Self-Propelled Artillery Battalion and the 2nd Artillery Battalion, but considering it isn't usually mentioned which battalion's artillery is hit in videos, we cannot rule out that these battalions suffered significant losses.
In conclusion: the 2nd mechanised infantry battalion is the most likely battalion to be sent to Kursk Oblast, while the 1st Mechanized Infantry Battalion may also be sent due to the usefulness of Bradleys in defensive operations as seen on the northern flank of Avdiivka during the Russian offensive operations at the beginning of the year.
Keep in mind that the information on the 47th brigade being sent to Kursk is unconfirmed and may turn out to be false. This analysis is just to give you an idea of what may have been sent if anything was sent at all.

A recent report states that Russian forces have begun assault operations on Tolstyi Lug in Kursk Oblast.
Considering the reports of the capture of Liubimovka, it is possible that these attacks took place from the rear as either way the Russians would have to cross the Snagost' river. This direction makes more sense as it gets behind the Ukrainian positions.
This information has not been confirmed, however.

A new report suggests that Russian forces have advanced and entered the city of Kurakhove.
To do this, the Russians needed to clear the rest of Ostrivske, which they reportedly completed, before advancing into the dachas and the eastern-most residential area of Kurakhove along Skhidna street. They also apparently captured the local cemetary as well as a section of the railway line.

Today's Russian Geran attack has been ongoing for over 15 hours now. 3 drones are still in the airspace of Ukraine. If anyone knows what the record length of a Russian Shahed/Geran attack is, let me know.

It’s over. The attack lasted a total of 17 hours. The next one will probably start in 4-7 hours time.

— 🇮🇱/🇱🇧/🇱🇧 After more than 1 week in Lebanon, Israel now controls:
– A single hill with a playground in Maroun El Ras (800 meters from the border).
– About 5-10 houses on the very outskirts of Odaisseh (200 meters from the border).
– A farmhouse ranch and a few houses in Yaroun (600 meters from the border).
In neither of these villages, the IDF has entered the town center, only the outskirts.
Other towns that the IDF attempted to advance on, but was forced to retreat:
❌ Kfar Kila
❌ Blida
❌ Aytaroun
❌ Labbouneh
❌ Ayta Al Shaab

Recent reliable reports suggest that Russian forces have likely advanced in the Glushkovsky district of Kursk Oblast and recaptured the settlements of Veseloe and Obukhovka.
The reports state that the AFU was pushed back to the international border and now only controls the Novyi Put tract.
This comes as Russian sources stated that Russian forces were bombarding Ukrainian positions and strongholds in and around Veseloe and Obukhovka. This was likely a predecessor to the main assault operations.
If these reports of Russian advances are true, then it would indicate the end of Ukraine's Glushkovo offensive. It would also free up Russian troops for the offensive on Sudzha.

A new report from Pro-Ukrainian source "Deepstate" suggests that Russian forces have made a small advance north of Novohrodivka, capturing a section of the railway line which leads to Pokrovsk, as well as a section of the railway line which leads to Myrnohrad.
This advance - if true - threatens the village of Sukhyi yar from not only the south, but also the east.

Another report by Pro-Ukrainian source "Deepstate" suggests that Russian forces advanced west of Niu-York and captured new Ukrainian treeline positions.
If true, this advance was likely conducted with a main assault vector to the north, while others attacked west to capture Ukrainian positions in the grove. The treelines adjacent to the northern end of the treeline with the main attack vector are likely in the grey zone or under Russian control by now.
It appears that the Russians may be attempting to flank Nelipivka from the west, unless Nelipivka has already fallen, which is a possibility.
