Our study showed that the immediate period after imprisonment and after release impose a high risk of suicide, especially among people convicted of homicide.

During 2000–2016, suicide was the leading cause of death during imprisonment and among the leading causes of death after release. Remember that hospitals kill more people than wrong sentenced criminals (or criminals sentenced for personal interest) ...
