You came in the show in season 4.
You started working in Family Video alongside Steve and robin . They both know you a bit from high school but you weren't friends with them and because they were too close and always hanging out you mostly spend your time alone in the store till steve started flirting with you and because you wanted to be friends with him ( yep just friends ) you laughed it off and played it cool.
During this time Robin barely talked to you. You saw her staring at you sometimes but not a single word. You really felt bad about it cause in your eyes she was such a dreamy girl and you loooove to be friends with her but you saw no signs from her so you gave up trying to chit chat with her.
You found out about vecna and upside down when Steve and robin didn't came to the store for few days and you were tired of handling the whole store alone. So you went to find Steve ( it's the graveyard scene with max ) when you see all that stuff and max literally in the sky you were so shocked so Steve told you about everything that happened in this time. And this is when you get dragged into the real story too and you have to save yourself and others.
Before you go to lover's lake you talk with Steve and ask him that why does Robin hate you so much and he kept hesitating and changing the subject but he finally admitted that Robin has a secret crush on you. And God the world nearly stopped when you heard that. So when you were in the upside down alone with Robin in the woods you don't even ask for permission you don't hold back you just kiss her like this might be the last time. She was also shocked but yeah she always liked you but she didn't knew you were into girls too so she never made a move.
When you two pulled apart you just looked at each other for few seconds and then laughed. Like even in this hell there was something worth living for.
In season 5 you have a lot of kissing scenes ( yesss ) and you two are literally inseparable. You go everywhere together ( you two are both girlfriend and best friends) sometimes steve has to tell you to stop being so romantic but you two always laugh and ignore him.
There is this scene when she throws herself in front you ( who knows probably from vecna , a demogorgon or...) she gets injured but she's totally fine after a week but that's the moment you find out how much she truly loves you.

You gossiped a lot with Nancy and yes you were in team Johnathan. So the three of you become a trio to hang out in the weekends ( two nerd nice girls with the weird boy )
Between the kids you were mostly close to Dustin and max
Specially after she lost Billy you always made sure to check on her and you made cookies or food for her and you always insisted on her eating because she didn't most of the time.
You went to Lucas's match too and stayed the whole night cheering. Yep you were like Steve just the female ver. The mother of the group. Well mostly like the big sister but whatever
One night Dustin invited you to one of the d&d game nights with Eddie and that's when you met your own weird boy.
Nancy had Johnathon you had Eddie ( now you see why you two are best friends?)

You definitely went and put flowers on Eddie's grave every week. Sometimes you read your books to him and sometimes you played your favorite songs there cause you truly believed he was there listening.

Of course you didn't let Nancy do anything alone so you found out about upside down the same time as her. You were freaked out but you knew you had to be brave for your brother and for Nancy too.
As the time went you got closer to Dustin , like come on you were both geniuses and you were the one who helped him in his studies and told him about all the cool facts he knew so both of you were the brains in the team.
In season 4 when eleven cuts her hair she was so sad so you got bald like her too and matched. She cried when she saw you actually do that for her to not feel alone and she loved you like a big sister ever since.
When Dustin and Eddie became friends you met him a looot. Like a lot. Cause he was around nearly everyday. At first you didn't like him since who did ? No one in the high school actually trusted that guy but over time you realized he might be crazy but he's not what they say about him and he's actually nice so he became kinda your first close boy best friend.
No one knew but sometimes you hanged out with Eddie and told him about your pains which you couldn't tell Nancy or anyone else and that how much hard it is to protect Dustin and kinda be the wise mature sister in the family. He would always listen and never judge You.
In season 4 you die instead of Eddie. It was the three of you. And you had made your choice already. You would sacrifice yourself and you did. Both for your brother and your best friend cause you know they deserved it.

Because of your age you didn't hang out with neither Nancy/steve/Johnathan or the younger kids and you just had some few friends in the school till when in season 2 max came to your school and as a senior one to her the , school asked you to give her a tour and you both talked and she saw you like the big sister she never had. Yes although you were few years older then her but you became friends and you stayed in each other's house few times.
Being friends with max meant meeting her brother , Billy. He was so different to the boys in your books they would truly love the girl , buy her gifts , braids her hair and do so many romantic things but him? He was all red flags and somehow you fell for that guy and so did he. So when he came looking for his sister and steve hitted him you got in between and dragged him out to calm him down ( I can fix him no really I can ) . A lot of your relationship was you calming him down but sometimes..he was nice. Just for you. Sometimes you actually saw that he wanted to try and be better for the girl he loved but that summer came soon enough and you watched how your boyfriend died in front of your eyes.
A month after his death you were checking his car to grab your old Hoodie from there and you saw the two cinema tickets he got for your birthday in the car with your favorite book that you wanted so much. That made you cry so hard. Maybe he was shitty sometimes but you still loved him and wanted him back. Cause deep down you believed you could change him.
You survived last season too and everyday you went and checked on max. You did it both for yourself and for Billy. You would hold her hand and read her books wishing she would wake up. Cause you couldn't bare to lose someone this close to yourself again

So you traveled to Hawkins and fight along side with El in season 5 to win over Henry. ( you survived btw )

Even though you were so hurt and depressed after it you know this was the time you had to take care of your sister so you faked being happy and smiled through everything. That's when you met Eddie and somehow you find comfort in him. He was like the cool older guy who played guitar and was so off limits.
Every time you and Dustin hang out with him you would secretly watch every little thing that he would do and you couldn't tell if you actually had a crush on him or no cause he was much older then you.
One night when you were feeling so bad and you couldn't tell max about it you sneaked out and went to find Eddie and you just cried in his arms and he holded you there not saying anything and you realized maybe you didn't actually love him romanticly you wanted someone to care for you this deeply and he did.
After max went into coma you felt so alone. So so alone but you didn't lose your hope you would visit her everyday and in the other times you would hang out with either Steve or Eddie ( he's alive yes ) and they kinda became your family.
