You were in the show since season 1. You're the middle child in byers family. The only daughter. You're just one and half year younger then Johnathan , but your older brother always took care of you and protected you and you did the same for will.
You were as worried as Joyce when will went missing and you were the only one who actually listened to her when she said she talks to will through the lights and you were so desperate yourself that you believed her and soon enough you saw that she was telling the truth.
Because of your age you didn't hang out with neither Nancy/steve/Johnathan or the younger kids and you just had some few friends in the school till when in season 2 max came to your school and as a senior one to her the , school asked you to give her a tour and you both talked and she saw you like the big sister she never had. Yes although you were few years older then her but you became friends and you stayed in each other's house few times.
Being friends with max meant meeting her brother , Billy. He was so different to the boys in your books they would truly love the girl , buy her gifts , braids her hair and do so many romantic things but him? He was all red flags and somehow you fell for that guy and so did he. So when he came looking for his sister and steve hitted him you got in between and dragged him out to calm him down ( I can fix him no really I can ) . A lot of your relationship was you calming him down but sometimes..he was nice. Just for you. Sometimes you actually saw that he wanted to try and be better for the girl he loved but that summer came soon enough and you watched how your boyfriend died in front of your eyes.
A month after his death you were checking his car to grab your old Hoodie from there and you saw the two cinema tickets he got for your birthday in the car with your favorite book that you wanted so much. That made you cry so hard. Maybe he was shitty sometimes but you still loved him and wanted him back. Cause deep down you believed you could change him.
You survived last season too and everyday you went and checked on max. You did it both for yourself and for Billy. You would hold her hand and read her books wishing she would wake up. Cause you couldn't bare to lose someone this close to yourself again

You barely talk to Billy cause he's mean to you too probably a little less then max cause you're more quite and obedient then she is and every time he's coming to pick you up , you're on time but still you see how she treats your sister and deep down you can't forgive him for it.
You and max both found out about the upside down in season 2 and helped the other kids , it took some time but you got closer to Dustin mostly and then Lucas cause she dated your sister . Because you didn't had a good relationship with your own brother you saw Steve so cool and he was like a true God in your eyes. Both you and Dustin were like his family and the closest ones to him.
After Billy died you were the one that stayed strong. Even though you were so hurt and depressed after it you know this was the time you had to take care of your sister so you faked being happy and smiled through everything. That's when you met Eddie and somehow you find comfort in him. He was like the cool older guy who played guitar and was so off limits.
Every time you and Dustin hang out with him you would secretly watch every little thing that he would do and you couldn't tell if you actually had a crush on him or no cause he was much older then you.
One night when you were feeling so bad and you couldn't tell max about it you sneaked out and went to find Eddie and you just cried in his arms and he holded you there not saying anything and you realized maybe you didn't actually love him romanticly you wanted someone to care for you this deeply and he did.
After max went into coma you felt so alone. So so alone but you didn't lose your hope you would visit her everyday and in the other times you would hang out with either Steve or Eddie ( he's alive yes ) and they kinda became your family.
