Making du‘ā’ (supplication) during rainfall is highly encouraged in Islam and is considered a time when du‘ā’ is more likely to be accepted. This practice is supported by authentic narrations from the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and is therefore considered Sunnah.
---
Benefits of Making Du‘ā’ in the Rain:
1. Time of Acceptance
Rain is one of the times when the du‘ā’ is likely to be accepted by Allah, as it is a moment of mercy descending from the heavens.
2. Demonstration of Tawheed and Humility
During rain, the believer recognizes that only Allah sends down rain from the sky, and this increases their humility and reliance upon Him.
3. Following the Sunnah
Making du‘ā’ during rainfall is following the example of the Prophet ﷺ, which earns reward and brings barakah (blessing).
4. Connection to Allah’s Mercy
Rain is a symbol of Allah’s mercy, and connecting du‘ā’ to that moment ties it to a time of divine generosity.
---
Proof from the Sunnah:
1. Sahih Narration from al-Hakim and Abu Dawud
The Prophet ﷺ said:
> "Two are the du‘ā’s that are not rejected: du‘ā’ at the time of the call to prayer and du‘ā’ when it is raining."
— [Sahih al-Jami‘, 3078; Abu Dawud; al-Hakim declared it sahih]
2. Narrated by Sahl ibn Sa‘d:
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
> "Seek the response to your supplications when the armies meet, the prayer is established, and the rain falls."
— [Reported by al-Shafi‘i in al-Umm (1/235), authenticated by al-Albani in Sahih al-Jami‘, 1026]
---
Scholarly Opinions:
Ibn Qayyim (رحمه الله) stated in Zād al-Ma‘ād that among the recommended times for du‘ā’ is when rain falls.
Imam Nawawi (رحمه الله) mentioned in al-Adhkār that it is Sunnah to make du‘ā’ when it rains because of the narrations.

Allāh’s acceptance is of two kinds:
The first is when a servant prays, and does all actions and forms of worship with his heart attached to Allāh, remembering Him consistently. Then the actions of the servant will be presented to Allāh until it stands in front of Him so He may looks at them. When He looks at them He sees them as being sincerely for His face, from a heart that is sound and sincere with love for Allāh, drawing close to Him. He loves them and is pleased with them and accepts them.
The second is when a servant does actions out of habit and carelessness. He intends to do the acts of obedience in order to get closer to Allāh, so while his limbs are busy with obedience, his heart is distracted from the remembrance of Allāh. So when these acts of devotion are raised up to Allāh they do not stand in front Him nor does He look at them. Instead they are placed with the rest of the actions that are recorded, until they are presented to him on the day of judgment and are separated.
Then the person is rewarded according to the actions that were for Allāh and what which was not for the face of Allāh is rejected. So the acceptance of his action is rewarded with something Allāh has created; palaces, food and drink, and wide-eyed women [of Paradise]. The reward for the first kind is being pleased with the action for Himself and being pleased with those that interact such devotional deeds, He brings him closer, raising his rank and status. This person will be given without measure. So the two kinds are very different [in reward].

Both Israel and Iran are the enemies of Islam. It’s not correct to support EITHER!
Imam Malik رحمه الله said
"Allah will take revenge on the oppressor with an oppressor, and then He will take revenge on both of them."
[Manh Al-Jalil, 9/195]
Iran is NOT an Islamic COUNTRY.
It is NOT right to side with a country who curses and insults the Mothers of the Believers and makes Takfir on the companions of the Prophet ﷺ!! And who commit shirk against Allah ﷻ and seeks help from GRAVES. BOTH ARE KUFFAR.

"We never know but some people are going through the lowest of their lives and sometimes they couldn't even manage to reply a good morning back to your messages, couldn't afford to do a meet up, they cancel plans on the last minute, they lock up in their rooms, it takes time for them to function again. And that is why we must stay gentle and kind. The world is too heavy already for them to carry on their shoulders. We leave a mark to each other, remind yourself to leave a beautiful one."

Blind is the one who fasts, abstaining from food, but does not abstain from haram.
Blind is the one who bypasses the Kaaba, the temple of the Almighty, but does not bypass the beggars who die daily and are in dire need.
Blind is the one who proclaims the Azan, extolling his voice, but does not exalt his parents out of respect for them.
Blind is the one who prays and fasts, and then deceives people in trade.
Blind is the one who stands in prayer before the Almighty, carrying hatred, malice, anger and contempt for people in his heart.
Blind is the one whose worship is at odds with his character and relationship with people.
Blind is the one who prays, makes prostrations to the ground and at the same time supports the oppressors.
Blind is the one who prays and fasts, and his hands are covered in the blood of innocent people.
Blind is the one who takes a part of religion, leaving the other.
Blind is the one who performs prayer without receiving benefit from it.
The Qur'an says:
❞ وَمَن كَانَ فِى هَٰذِهِۦٓ أَعْمَىٰ فَهُوَ فِى ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ أَعْمَىٰ وَأَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا

“He doesn’t pray, lives in luxury, people praise him, and he’s always at ease…”
Don’t be deceived. Allah said:
“So when they forgot the warning they had received, We opened for them the gates of everything, until when they rejoiced in what they were given, We seized them suddenly, and they were left in utter despair.” (Surah Al-Anaam: 44).
Don’t mistake ease for approval.
Sometimes, when a person turns away from Allah, the world opens up for them, not as a reward or sign of acceptance, but as a trap and a delayed punishment.
When the reminder is ignored, and the heart is hardened, ease becomes deception. And when the soul is blind to its condition, the fall is sudden and devastating.

In the end, you will die. No matter how much you achieve, how many people know your name, or how carefully you plan your life — it all comes to an end. The noscripts fade, the noise quiets, and you stand alone with your deeds. It’s a reality we often ignore, but it’s the one thing that’s certain. So live with purpose. Turn to Allah. Make each day count, not just for this world, but for the one that truly lasts. Because in the end, that’s what remains.
