KNOW YOUR ENEMY
The prophet pbuh said "When a man enters his house or goes to bed, an angel and shaytan hasten to him. The angel says, 'Seal it with good!' The Shaytan says, 'Seal it with evil.' If he praises Allah and remembers Him, he chases the shaytan away and spends the night with him guarding him. When he wakes up, the angel and shaytan hasten to him and say the same thing. If he mentions Allah and says, 'Praise be to Allah, who keeps firm hold of the heavens and earth, preventing them from vanishing away. And if they vanished no one could then keep hold of them. Certainly He is Most Forbearing, Ever-Forgiving.' (35:41) Praise be to Allah who holds back the sky preventing it from falling on the earth, except by His permission. Allah is All-Compassionate to mankind, Most Merciful.' (22:63) If he dies, he dies a martyr, If he gets up and prays, he prays in virtue.'"

How sound is the hadeeth “Seek seventy excuses for your brother”?
Answered by Shaykh Ibn Baaz Rahimahullaah
I do not know of any basis for it. What is prescribed for the believer is to respect his brother if he apologizes to him and accept his excuse if possible, and to think positively of him whenever possible, in hopes that hearts will be free from resentment and that people will be brought together and will cooperate in doing good. It was narrated from ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him) that he said: “Do not think badly of a word uttered by your brother, when you can find a good interpretation for it.”

Abu Hurayrah reported, "Someone asked Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) about what will get people admitted into Jannah the most. He replied, 'Being mindful of Allah (taqwa) and excellent conduct.' He was then asked about what would get people admitted into Jahannam the most. He answered, '[Misusing your] mouth and [your] private part.'"

Importance of a Mother’s Forgiveness – The Story of Alqamah
There are Quranic verses and Hadiths showing the importance of forgiveness in Islam and being obedient to our parents. Let us see what happened to Alqamah (radi Allahu anhu) during the time of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
Alqamah (radi Allahu anhu) was a very pious person. He spent his time in prayer and fasting. At the approach of death he was unable to proclaim the Kalima Shahada, in spite of repeated instruction by those present. Alqamah’s wife sent a messenger to Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) to inform him of Alqamah’s grave condition.
Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) enquired whether the parents of Alqamah were alive. He was informed that Alqamah’s mother was alive. Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) asked the aged mother about Alqamah. She replied: “Alqamah is a very pious person. He passes his time in Salat and Saum. He performs Tahajjud, but he always disobeys me for the sake of his wife. I am, therefore, displeased with him.’
Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “It will be best for him if you forgive him.’ However, she refused. Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) ordered Bilal (radi Allahu anhu) to gather firewood. On hearing this order, Alqamah’s mother asked in consternation: “Will my child be burnt in the fire?’
Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Yes! Compared to the punishment of Allah, our punishment is light. I take oath by Allah that as long as you remain displeased with him, neither his Salat nor his Sadaqah is accepted.’
The old lady said: “I make you and all people present witness that I have forgiven Alqamah.’ Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) addressing the gathering, said: “Go and see if the Kalima is on the tongue of Alqamah or not.’
After returning from Alqamah the people informed him that he was reciting the Kalima. Thus, he left this world with the Kalima on his lips. After burying Alqamah, Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “The curse of Allah is on the one who causes difficulty to his mother. The curse of the angels and the curse of mankind be on him. Allah Ta’ala neither accepts his Fardh nor his Nafl Ibadat as long as he does not repent and obey his mother. He has to gain her pleasure as best as he can. Allah’s Pleasure depends on the mother’s pleasure and His Wrath is concealed in her wrath.’” (Ahmad)
This Hadith is an important reminder for us to be respectful and obedient to our parents and try to keep them happy with us. Our mothers deserve our utmost attention, respect and obedience. It is not a small matter to upset them for the sake of our friends or others who we value more.
It is also important to find out what are the rights of our children, spouses, relatives, friends and other Muslims so that we know what Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) wants us to do in case there is a clash between what different people want from us. This is the only proper way to balance relationships as it seeks Allah’s pleasure.
From the Quran and Hadith:
…No mother shall be treated unfairly on account of her child, nor father on account of his child…
[Quran 2:233]
And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful to your parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of disrespect, nor shout at them but address them in terms of honour.
[Quran 17:23]
And We have enjoined on man (to be dutiful and good) to his parents. His mother bore him in weakness and hardship upon weakness and hardship, and his weaning is in two years give thanks to Me and to your parents, unto Me is the final destination.

💡"But We Need a New Approach in Today’s Dawah!" [Shaykh Ibn Baaz Responds]
════════════════════════════════
❓It is widely reported that His Eminence, Shaikh ‘Abdul-Azeez Bin Baaz (may Allaah have Mercy on him), was asked:
⏳Every era has a method that suits it. The Salaf (righteous predecessors) used lessons and sermons, but we have a more effective method: acting. Nice young men, depicting the roles of sinners or drunkards, solely for the sake of admonishment. So I hope Your Eminence would encourage the youth to do so, since the method of those before us does not suit them.
👤And the shaykh answered:
Allaahu Akbar… Allaahu Akbar… Allaahu Akbar… Allaahu Akbar.
🚩What a horrible lie! What a terribly hideous statement!
💥The way of the Prophet (may Allaah raise his rank and grant him peace), the Companions, and the righteous Salaf is of no benefit to those living today?! Nothing benefits them but acting and lies?! We seek Allaah’s Refuge from evil. You have spoken falsehood and lies, O questioner! We ask Allaah for well-being.
↪The Prophet (may Allaah raise his rank and grant him peace) and his Companions did not perform theatrics. They would not say, “I’m Aboo Jahl,” and, “I’m Aboo So-and-so,” and, “I’m…”
🔗They would say, “Allaah said…”, “The Prophet said…”, and “Fear Allaah, O people! Do this… Leave this… This is permissible… This is impermissible…” That is what benefits the masses!
🔥Nothing benefits them except for someone to come and say, “I’m Aboo Lahab,” or, “I’m Aboo Jahl,”, or, “I’m Aboo Bakr,” or, “I’m Muhammad,” while lying?!
🔵A beardless man comes and proclaims, “I’m Aboo Bakr,” or, “I’m Umar”?! What is this ugly and evil speech?! I seek Allaah’s Refuge!
✴Acting is forbidden. It is lies and falsehood! We ask Allaah for well-being. I seek refuge with Allaah. We ask Allah for well-being.
Allaah, the Most High, says:
وإنهم ليقولون منكرا من القول وزورا
“And verily, they utter an ill word and a lie.” [58:2]

(b) It is permissible for women to wear all types of gold jewelry. Shaykh Isma‘il Al-Ansary has written a research paper on this issue, to which you may refer.
(c) It is permissible for a woman to wear make-up in front of her husband to beautify herself for him and to appear in it in front of her Mahrams.
(d) It is NOT permissible for a woman to wear PANTS, as in doing so she is imitating men.
(e) It is NOT permissible for a woman to uncover her hair in front of men, who are not her Mahrams, but it is permissible for her to uncover it in front of other women in general, and it is permissible for her to wear gloves.

The Devil's Deception of Preachers (al-wua'zh) and Storytellers (al-qusas)
Some of them used to fabricate hadiths that brought fear and hope to the listeners. Iblis convinced them that this was a good act because it aimed at encouraging people to do good deeds and stay away from evil.
This is a form of transgression against Islam because it is an implicit claim that religion is deficient and in need of these fabricated narrations to amend it. They also forgot the Prophetic saying: "Whomsoever lies about me intentionally, then let them assume their position in the Hellfire."*

Feeling lonely ? Take Heed...!
From Muhammad bin Aslam - Rahimahullaah - (d. 242 AH) that he said:
"What is there for me in this creation? I was alone in the back-bone of my father. Then i was alone in the womb of my mother. Then I entered this world alone. Then my soul will be taken alone, and I would be laid into my grave alone. Then Nakeer and Munkar (two angels) will come to me in my grave, to question me alone. If I reached goodness, I reach it alone, and if I reached evil, then also I would be alone. Then I would stand infront of Allaah, all alone. Then my (good) actions and sins, both will be put in the scale; mine alone. If I am sent to the Paradise, I am sent alone. And if I am sent to the Hell, I am sent alone. So, what is there for me in the people? "

📍Shaykh Al-Albānī Regarding One Who Woke up at Fajr Time, Fell Asleep and Only Woke up after Sunrise.
------------------------------
Person asking: [My question] is that there is a man who got up [for] the Fajr prayer, at the adhān of Fajr, and with it [being the time for] the Fajr prayer, he went back to sleep. And after he slept, he woke up. Should he pray [the Fajr prayer] or not pray [it]?
Shaykh Al-Albānī: Meaning, he fell asleep after he had heard the adhān of Fajr…
Person asking: Yes, yes.
Shaykh Al-Albānī: …before he prayed Fajr?!
Person asking: His full brother had woken him up.
Shaykh Al-Albānī: Yes, [say that again]?
Person asking: His full brother had woken him up.
Shaykh Al-Albānī: It doesn’t matter to me, my brother, whether his full brother woke him up or his full sister.
Person asking: Yes.
Shaykh Al-Albānī: How would this matter to me. What matters to me is what I am going to ask you now…
Person asking: Yes, after Fajr.
Shaykh Al-Albānī: …(chuckling), Yes…do you mean that he went to sleep after he had woken up for the adhān of Fajr and before he had prayed the Fajr prayer?!
Person asking: Yes, yes, yes.
Shaykh Al-Albānī: Ok…
Person asking: Yes…
Shaykh Al-Albānī: Then after that, when did he wake up?
Person asking: He woke up when the sun had [already] come out.
Shaykh Al-Albānī: Yes, he lost his prayer.
Person asking: Totally, yeah?
Shaykh Al-Albānī: He lost his prayer, and there is no possible [way] for him to make it up as [some] say.
Person asking: He doesn’t make it up?
Shaykh Al-Albānī: It is not allowed [to].
Person asking: It is not allowed?
Shaykh Al-Albānī: It is obligatory upon him to repent to Allāh…
Person asking: Yes…
Shaykh Al-Albānī: …for what he did.
Person asking: Ok…may Allāh reward you well…he doesn’t pray [it again], that means?
Shaykh Al-Albānī: No, no, he doesn’t pray [it again] since this [person] is from those who lost the prayer by [not praying it in] its time.
Person asking: We ask Allāh’s protection [from that].
Shaykh Al-Albānī: As for if he…
Person asking: Yes…?
Shaykh Al-Albānī: …didn’t wake up with the Fajr adhān, but only woke up at sunrise, then there is when we say to him as the Messenger ﷺ said: “Whoever forgets a prayer or sleeps through it, let him pray it at the time he remembers it.”
There is no expiation for [that prayer that had been forgotten or slept through] except that.
Person asking: May Allāh reward you well…
Shaykh Al-Albānī: …As for your question [in which] he woke up at the adhān of Fajr…
Person asking: And went back to sleep…
Shaykh Al-Albānī: …and fell back to sleep, then in that case, it is not allowed [for him to pray when he wakes up] because he got the time [of Fajr] and didn’t pray in the time, so he lost his prayer.
“So woe be to those who pray, those who are negligent with regard to their prayers.”
Person asking: May Allāh reward you well for [your benefiting] us.
Shaykh Al-Albānī: May Allāh protect you from every harm.

Some Bid'ahs Related to Burying the Dead:
It is not permissible to recite Surah Yasin or any other Surah over a grave during or after the burial. It is also impermissible to recite the Qur'an at graves because the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم did not do this nor did the Rightly-Guided Caliphs do this.
Likewise, it is not permissible to pronounce Adhan (call to Prayer) or Iqamah (call to start the Prayer) over the graves because this is Bid`ah (innovation in religion). It was authentically reported that the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: He who does any act for which there is no sanction from our behalf, that is to be rejected. (Related by Imam Muslim in his Sahih)
Likewise, it is not permissible to plant anything on graves, whether aloe, barley, or wheat, since the Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم did not do this, nor did the Rightly-Guided Caliphs (may Allah be pleased with them) do this. As for his صلى الله عليه وسلم planting palm leaves on two graves when Allah (Exalted be He) informed him that their occupants were being tormented, this act was limited to the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم regarding those two graves in particular, as he did not do this with any other grave. Indeed, Muslims should not innovate worship acts that Allah has not prescribed, based upon the Hadith quoted above and on the verse in which Allah (Glorified be He) says: Or have they partners (with Allâh — false gods) who have instituted for them a religion which Allâh has not ordained?
May Allah grant us success.

🔴From the signs of rudeness are:
🎓Ibn Masood رضي الله عنه said:
❝Four things are from rudeness:
🌟1) that a person urinates while standing;
🌟2) that a person prays while people are passing in front of him, and he does not have a Sutrah in front of him to act as a barrier between him and the people;
🌟3) that a person wipes the dust off his face (or forehead) while he is still in prayer;
🌟4) and that he hears the Muadhdhin (saying the Adhaan) but he does not repeat after him.❞
📚 [Sunan al-Kubraa of al-Baihaqee (3552) and Shaikh al-Albaanee graded it as “Saheeh” as a statement of Ibn Masood رضي الله عنه in “al-Irwaa” (1/97)]

Constantly Complaining - Symptoms Of Weak Faith.
Shaykh Al Albani رحمه الله said:
Tightness in the chest, mood swings and depression, which weigh a man down and make him quick to complain about the slightest thing, these all are symptoms of weak faith. A person easily gets upset with the people around him, and no longer has any tolerance. The Prophet (Peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) described faith when he said, “Eemaan is patience and tolerance”

The Ruling on Yoga - Shaykh Al-'Utaybee
Yoga is not simply a physical exercise, it is rather a form of worship to the sun instead of Allaah.
Definition from Merrium Webster Dictionary: a Hindu theistic philosophy teaching the suppression of all activity of body, mind, and will in order that the self may realize its distinction from them and attain liberation
Collins English dictionary defines Yoga as: a Hindu system of philosophy aiming at the mystical union of the self with the Supreme Being in a state of complete awareness and tranquillity through certain physical and mental exercises
Ruling on Yoga:
It is not permissible because the aqeedah behind it is Shirk. Even if for medical reasons, there are alternatives to yoga.
