🔮 Unfortunately, some Muslim women have jumped on the bandwagon as well, creating outfits that consist of short dresses, leggings, and hijab.

💡What’s the big deal, you ask? Wearing leggings is almost the same thing as wearing stockings, which is almost the same thing as wearing nothing on your legs.

💎Islamic modesty is not just about covering your skin, it’s about concealing your shape.
*between a woman and her mahrams, she has to cover her ‘awrah.*

❎*It is not permissible to wear tight clothing, either in front of one's mahrams or in front of other women, if it is excessively tight and shows the woman’s charms.

❌*It is not permissible for a woman to wear short clothes in front of her children and mahrams, or to uncover more than is customary in front of them of that which will not cause any fitnah. She may wear short clothes in front of her husband only.

Encouraging Other Students by Clapping?

Question:

Is it permissible for a man to playfully clap for his child or for students to be requested to clap in class to encourage their classmates?

Answer:

One should not clap; in the very least; it is severely Makhruh (disliked), because it is a pre-Islamic practice. Moreover, it is an act that is specific to women, for the purpose of reminding the Imaam when he makes an error in the prayer. And with Allaah is the facilitation to do what is right.
May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family and his Companions.

Shaykh Al-Albani رحمه الله said;

"Learn the Sunnah & you will know the Bidʿah, but if you Learn Bidʿah you will not be able to know the Sunnah."

Shaykh Al-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah said, may Allah have mercy in him:

"إذا وجد العبد تقصيراً في حق القرابة والأهل والأولاد والجيران والإخوان، فعليه بالدعاء لهم والاستغفار".

If the slave finds shortcomings with regards to his relatives and family and children and neighbors and brothers, then he should make dua' for them and seek forgiveness for them".

Tawḥīd al-Ḥākimiyyah Is an Innovation

The committee of Major Scholars wrote:

"To make al-Ḥākimiyyah a separate category from the categories of tawḥīd is an innovated action. None of the imāms we know of have ever spoken of this."

Shaykh Muḥammad Ibn Ṣāliḥ al-ʿUthaymīn was asked about this concept, so he said:

"This statement is a newly-invented, innovated, evil saying, making the one who uses it repugnant…and it is indeed a misguided innovation."
[Liqaa`ul Maftooh (no. 150) 20th Shawwāl 1417H.]

He also said:

"Verily the one who calls to that is an innovator. Indeed, this is an innovated categorization, emanating from an ignoramus who does not understand anything from the matters of Creed and Religion."
