Do not take graves as places of worship…
There's nothing wrong in admitting that you are wrong rather it is from sincerity, truthfulness & humbleness. Have you not heard the saying of the Prophet ﷺ:

"All the children of Ādam sin & the BEST of those who sin are those who repent (& rectify)."

[Saheeh Ibn Mājah 3447]

If you have a disagreement with your spouse, or a friend or anyone else & they point out your mistake/mistakes, be humble enough to accept their advice, rather thank them for clarifying your mistake, don't you want to meet Allāh تعالى with the least amount of mistakes as possible?

If you've erred in an affair of the religion & it is clarified to you then be humble enough to return to the truth & to repent from it. Have you not read the saying of Allāh:

إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ التَّوَّابِينَ

"Indeed, Allāh LOVES those who are constantly repentant." (2:222)

Are we not moved by this verse?! Being humble, and admitting your mistake and repenting from it, is a reason for you to attain the LOVE of Allaah

What was the end of result of the one who was too arrogant to admit his mistake and to repent from it? He became the leader for every evil and wicked person, and will be from the inhabitants of the Hell-fire for eternity and that was Iblees.

And what was the end result of the one who was humble enough to admit his mistake and repent from it? It was forgiveness from His Lord, a noble mention and eternity in the land of bliss- Paradise, and that was Ādam عليه السلام .

THE REALITY OF TAQWĀ

The scholars have said about taqwā: It is to work in the obedience of Allāh, upon a light from Allāh, while hoping for the reward of Allāh; and to abandon disobeying Allāh, upon a light from Allāh, while fearing the punishment of Allāh.

A pudding made from *talbinah*
(Barley flour and milk), dates, and honey, sprinkled with raisins, cinnamon, honey and blackseeds... Very nutritious, and yummy eaten warm for breakfast, but even yummier refrigerated over night!

#Talbinah:
'Aaisha (radiAllaahu anha) used to say, “I heard the Messenger of Allaah (salAllaahu alayhi wa sallan) saying, ‘The Talbinah gives rest to the heart of the patient and makes it active and relieves some of his sorrow and grief.’”
~ [Saheeh al-Bukhaari (5689)].

The Messenger (salAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) said, “I encourage you to use that which is disliked but beneficial (Talbinah) for by the One whose hand Muhammad’s soul is in, it cleans the stomach of one of you just as dirt is cleaned from the face with water.”
~ [Mustadrak of Haakim (7455), Saheeh as Dhahabi mentioned]

#Milk:
Allaah says,
“And in the cattle there is a lesson for you. We give you to drink of that which is in their bellies, in them you have many benefits, and of them you eat.”
~ [Surat Al-Mu’minun, 23:21]
CALAMITIES BEFALLS PEOPLE ACCORDING TO THEIR SINS

It is possible that an old man is humiliated, despite his old age, to the level that people feel sorry for him while he does not realise that what he suffers at old age is because of his negligence to Allāh's rights when he was at a youthful age.

Thus, whenever you see someone is being punished, know that this punishment is due to a sin that he previously committed.

SCHOLARS WHOSE INTEREST IS IN WORLDLY LIFE AND SCHOLARS WHOSE INTEREST IN THE HEREAFTER

The difference between the two types of scholars [i.e. scholars whose interest is in worldly life and scholars whose interest is in the Hereafter] is that on one hand, scholars whose interest is in worldly pleasures are [only] interested in authority and fame that such scholarship entails. They are only concerned with having followers, receiving praises and compliments. On the other hand, the scholars of the Hereafter do not only abstain from all that, but also fear it happening to them and feel pity for those who are afflicted with it.

🤳 *Selfies & Students of Knowledge.*

Nowdays, we see students of Islamic Knowledge who study in Islamic Colleges, taking photos and uploading them over the WhatsApp and social Media.

We would like to remind them of the seriousness of the Sin, they are involved in.

Abdullāh ibn Mas'ūd (رضي الله عنه‎) reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Those who will be most severely punished by Allāh on the Day of Resurrection will be the image-makers." (Reported by al-Bukhāri, see al-Fath, 10/382).

Ali (رضي الله عنه‎) said: "Shall I not send you on the same mission as the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) sent me? Do not leave any built-up tomb without levelling it, and do not leave any picture in any house without erasing it." (Reported by Muslim and al-Nisā'i; this is the version narrated by al-Nisā'i).

Ibn 'Abbās (رضي الله عنهم) reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Every image-maker will be in the Fire, and for every image that he made a soul will be created for him, which will be punished in the Fire." Ibn 'Abbās (رضي الله عنهم) said: "If you must do that, make pictures of trees and other inanimate objects." (Reported by Muslim, 3/1871)

Shaykh Ibn Bāz (رحمه الله) said:

“It is not permissible to picture people whether with their consent or without their consent; and if it is with their consent then the sin is greater. And pictures with souls in them are prohibited, because the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) cursed the picture makers”

Refer: “Fataawa Noor ala Darb” (Aqeedah) No.318

Imam Naasiruddin al Albani (رحمه الله).

“I fear that Salafiyoon one day will say- Photography isn’t picture making. You just press a button.”

[Silsilat ul Huda wan Nur 393]

We ask Allāh to guide us and you. And may Allah make us steadfast upon the way of Salaf us Salih

🍃 *The Messenger of Allāh –ﷺ– said,* “ If any one of you is concerned about a decision he has to make, then let him pray two raka’at of non-obligatory prayer, then say:

O Allāh, if in Your knowledge, this matter (then mention the specific matter) is good for me both in this world and in the Hereafter (or: in my religion, my livelihood, and my affairs), then ordain it for me, make it easy for me, and bless it for me. And if in your knowledge it is bad for me and for my religion, my livelihood, and my affairs (or: for me both in this world and the next), then turn me away from it, (and turn it away from me), and ordain for me the good wherever it may be and make me pleased with it.*

“O Mother of the Believers, tell me about the character of the Messenger of Allāh صلى الله عليه وسلم.” She said, “Do you not read the Qur’ān?” I said, “Of course!” She said, “The character of the Prophet of Allāh صلى الله عليه وسلم was the Qur’ān.”*

Da'wah To People Is Better Than Acquiring Worldly Possessions

The Messenger of Allāh Ṣallallāhu-'Alaihi Wa Sallam said: “By Allāh, if Allāh guides a single person through you; that is BETTER for you than (a whole lot of) red camels.”

Imām an-Nawawī Raḥimahullāh said regarding the parable of 'red camels' in the narration: “That is because red camels are from the most valuable of properties to the Arabs.”

Sh. 'Alī b. Yaḥyā al-Ḥaddādī Hafiẓahullāh said whilst mentioning the benefits of this Ḥadeeth: “For a single person to be guided at your hands is better for you than owning the treasures of this world for whatever is in this world will PERISH but whatever is with Allāh will REMAIN.”

The Messenger of Allāh Ṣallallāhu-'Alaihi Wa Sallam said: “He whose last words are: Lā Ilāha Illallāh (There is none worthy of worship except Allāh) will enter Jannah.”

When a person curses somebody or something, the curse goes up to heaven and the gates of heaven get closed. Then it comes down to the earth and its gates get closed. Then it turns right and left, and if it does not find an entrance to go anywhere, it returns to the person or thing that was cursed; if he or it deserves to be cursed; otherwise it returns to the person who uttered it.(Related by Imam Ahmad in his Musnad and Abu Dawud in his Sunan). May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings of Allah be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family and Companions!

💠 The Best Gift: #Taqwa

➡️ Taqwa is: “the Fear of Allaah” by which one abstains from sins.

➡️ Taqwa is: “the Love of Allaah” by which one performs all that he has been commanded to do.

➡️ Taqwa is: “God-consciousness” by which one is in constant remembrance of Allaah and is mindful of Him تعالى in all his affairs.

🌴🌴🌴

▶️ The best provision is: “Taqwa”
▶️ The best advice one can give is: “Taqwa”
▶️ The best advice one receives is: “Taqwa”
▶️ The best thing one enjoins upon others is: “Taqwa”
▶️ The best gift one can give to his loved ones is: “Taqwa”
▶️ The thing by which people will enter Paradise the most is: “Taqwa”

🌴🌴🌴

Allaah تعالى said:

{And take a provision (with you) for the journey, but the best provision is al-Taqwa. So fear Me, O men of understanding!} 📚 [Surah al-Baqarah (2): 197]

The Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم was asked about the (deed) for which people are admitted into Paradise the most, so he صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “Taqwa of Allaah, and good manners.” And he صلى الله عليه وسلم was asked about that for which people are admitted into the Fire the most, and he said صلى الله عليه وسلم: “The mouth and the private parts.”
📚 [Sunan al-Tirmidhee (2004) and Sunan Ibn Maajah (4246) and graded as “Hasan” by Shaikh al-Albaanee]

💠Questioner:
Advise me with something which will rectify for me my Deen and my worldly life.

🎓 Shaikh al-Islaam, Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله replied:

All praise is for Allaah, the Lord of the worlds. To proceed:

As for the advice, I do not know of any advice better than what Allaah تعالى and His Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم enjoined upon those who understand it and follow it. Allaah تعالى said:

{And verily, We have recommended to the people of the Scripture before you, and to you (O Muslims) that you (all) fear Allaah}
📚 [Surah al-Nisaa’ (4): 131]

The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم advised Muaadh Ibn Jabal رضي الله عنه, when he sent him to Yemen saying: “Have Taqwa of Allaah wherever you are, and follow an evil deed with a good one which will wipe it out, and treat the people with good behavior.”
📚 [Sunan al-Tirmidhee (1987) and graded as “Saheeh” by Shaikh al-Albaanee. The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم gave this advice to Abu Dhar as well as to Mu

Muaadh Ibn Jabal رضي الله عنه enjoyed a lofty status with the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم. The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said to Muaadh رضي الله عنه: “O Muaadh! By Allaah! I love you…”
📚 [Sunan Abu Dawood (1522) and graded as “Saheeh” by Shaikh al-Albaanee]

The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم also said about Mu
aadh رضي الله عنه: “…the most knowledgeable of my Ummah concerning the lawful and the unlawful is Muaadh bin Jabal.”
📚 [Sunan al-Tirmidhee (3790, 3791), Sunan Ibn Maajah (154), and graded as “Saheeh” by Shaikh al-Albaanee.]

From his merits is that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم sent him to Yemen as a propagator on his behalf, as a Daa
ee (caller to Islaam), as a Mufaqqih (Jurist), as a Muftee (the one who is capable of giving Fatwa (religious verdicts)), as a Haakim (judge).

And even after this, the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم advised him with this instruction (to have Taqwa) – because this is a Jaami (the most comprehensive) advice.

[This Religion Will Reach Everywhere In The World]

Tamim al-Dari reported:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said,

“This matter (Islam) will certainly reach every place touched by the night and day. Allah will not leave a house or residence except that Allah will cause this religion to enter it, by which the honorable will be honored and the disgraceful will be disgraced. Allah will honor the honorable with Islam and he will disgrace the disgraceful with unbelief.”

[Musnad Ahmad | 16509]
"Or add to it, and recite the Qur'an with measured recitation." ● [al-Qur’ān 73:4]

‎Shaykh as-Sa'dī رحمه الله said in Tafseer of this Āyah: “Through reciting the Qur'an with Tartil you will reach/achieve contemplation and deep thinking and moving the hearts to it and devotion through its verses and mobilising and preparing it (the hearts) completely for it (the Qur'an).”

Shaykh Bin Baz [رحمه الله] said:

❝If the people of truth did not speak out in clarification of the truth, then the people of error would remain upon their mistakes, others would blindly follow them in that, and the sin of withholding the truth would fall back on those who remained silent.❞

[Fatawa Shaykh Bin Baz, (3/72) | Translated By Abu Muadh Taqweem Aslam]
