🤳 *Selfies & Students of Knowledge.*
Nowdays, we see students of Islamic Knowledge who study in Islamic Colleges, taking photos and uploading them over the WhatsApp and social Media.
We would like to remind them of the seriousness of the Sin, they are involved in.
Abdullāh ibn Mas'ūd (رضي الله عنه) reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Those who will be most severely punished by Allāh on the Day of Resurrection will be the image-makers." (Reported by al-Bukhāri, see al-Fath, 10/382).
Ali (رضي الله عنه) said: "Shall I not send you on the same mission as the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) sent me? Do not leave any built-up tomb without levelling it, and do not leave any picture in any house without erasing it." (Reported by Muslim and al-Nisā'i; this is the version narrated by al-Nisā'i).
Ibn 'Abbās (رضي الله عنهم) reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Every image-maker will be in the Fire, and for every image that he made a soul will be created for him, which will be punished in the Fire." Ibn 'Abbās (رضي الله عنهم) said: "If you must do that, make pictures of trees and other inanimate objects." (Reported by Muslim, 3/1871)
Shaykh Ibn Bāz (رحمه الله) said:
“It is not permissible to picture people whether with their consent or without their consent; and if it is with their consent then the sin is greater. And pictures with souls in them are prohibited, because the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) cursed the picture makers”
Refer: “Fataawa Noor ala Darb” (Aqeedah) No.318
Imam Naasiruddin al Albani (رحمه الله).
“I fear that Salafiyoon one day will say- Photography isn’t picture making. You just press a button.”

We ask Allāh to guide us and you. And may Allah make us steadfast upon the way of Salaf us Salih

✒ Da'wah To People Is Better Than Acquiring Worldly Possessions
The Messenger of Allāh Ṣallallāhu-'Alaihi Wa Sallam said: “By Allāh, if Allāh guides a single person through you; that is BETTER for you than (a whole lot of) red camels.”
Imām an-Nawawī Raḥimahullāh said regarding the parable of 'red camels' in the narration: “That is because red camels are from the most valuable of properties to the Arabs.”
Sh. 'Alī b. Yaḥyā al-Ḥaddādī Hafiẓahullāh said whilst mentioning the benefits of this Ḥadeeth: “For a single person to be guided at your hands is better for you than owning the treasures of this world for whatever is in this world will PERISH but whatever is with Allāh will REMAIN.”

When a person curses somebody or something, the curse goes up to heaven and the gates of heaven get closed. Then it comes down to the earth and its gates get closed. Then it turns right and left, and if it does not find an entrance to go anywhere, it returns to the person or thing that was cursed; if he or it deserves to be cursed; otherwise it returns to the person who uttered it.(Related by Imam Ahmad in his Musnad and Abu Dawud in his Sunan). May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings of Allah be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family and Companions!

"The Religion is Sincere Advice..."
There is no doubt that no man amongst us can totally rectify himself by himself, or see all the crookedness or errors within himself. Therefore, it is a must that you are criticized by someone else, so that you may know what is for you and what is against you. The evidence of that is in the statement of the Prophet,
"The believer is the mirror of his brother, if he sees in it any deficiency he corrects it." *
So whomsoever finds within himself any of these qualities, let him praise Allāh for allowing him to recognize that, and let him resolute to rid himself from them.

Shaikh Ibn al-`Uthaymeen said (paraphrased):
❝During its advent in Makkah, Islaam was a stranger. In the beginning and for a long time, there were only ten companions; then they gradually increased in numbers. Similarly, at the end of times, it (Islaam) will return back to its state of being a stranger.
This decrease may not necessarily mean the decrease in numbers, as there are more than a Billion Muslims in the world. It may not necessarily mean that during the end of times there will be only ten or twenty Muslims left. It may mean that the Muslims might be in their hundreds or in their thousands, but they will be strangers to the Sunnah (i.e. very few will be following and implementing the Sunnah in their lives as compared to the total Muslim population).❞
[Sharh Saheeh Muslim (1/302)]
From the Hadeeth of Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
❝Islaam began as something strange, and it would revert to its (old position) of being something strange. So glad tidings to the strangers.❞

~Reward for reciting Qur'an~
If you feel lazy to read the Qur'an then remember:
* Every page you recite= 5,000 rewards approx.
* Every Juz' = 100,000 rewards approx.
* Reciting the entire Qur'an = 3 million rewards approx.
The above is based on the narration that for every letter a person recites, for him is ten rewards as reported by
al-Tirmidhi.
_"That is the bounty of Allah which He gives to whom He wills, and Allah is the possessor of great bounty."_

* If A Person Commits A Sin, Then He Should Say, “O Allah, I Have Committed A Sin So Forgive Me”
Praying Allah for forgiveness is an important matter, for it is a means by which sin is expiated.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
إذا أذنب عبدٌ ذنباً فقال أي رب أذنبت ذنباً فاغفر لي ، فقال : علم عبدي أن له رباً يغفر الذنب ويأخذ به ، قد غفرت لعبدي
“If a person commits a sin, then says, ‘O Lord, I have committed a sin so forgive me,’ He says, ‘My slave knows that he has a Lord Who may forgive sins or punish for it; I have forgiven My slave…’”
(Narrated by al-Bukhari, 6953; Muslim, 4953)
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
لو لم تذنبوا لذهب الله بكم ولجاء بقومٍ يذنبون ثم يستغفرون فيُغفَرُ لهم
“If you did not commit sin, Allah would do away with you and bring people who would commit sins then ask Him to forgive them, so He would forgive them.”

Whoever makes the worldly life their focal point and attaches their heart to other than Allāh, Allāh will confound their affairs, so their heart will not be at ease; rather, their heart will be scattered. How can someone be happy when their heart is scattered?! By Allāh, even if he possesses the entire world, he will not be happy if his heart is not at ease.

’Shaykh Uthaimeen: *The Layman in His Belief and Sincerity is Better than Many ‘Students of Knowledge.’*
Questioner: I want to ask you about [the periods of] slackness [a person goes through], its causes and the cure for it, because a person sometimes feels weakness in his [practice of the] religion?
’Shaykh Uthaimeen: It is not possible for a person to remain on a single uniform routine, even the Companions said, ‘O Messenger of Allaah! When we are with you we take heed and believe, and when we go to our families, our women and children, we forget,’ so he said, ‘A time for this and a time for that.’
It is not possible for a person to remain on a single uniform routine, but he must try to guard his heart’s uprightness, when the heart becomes good the whole body does so too.
He must leave delving into things that do not concern him.
He must leave disputing about things that have no benefit.
He must leave partisanship which has split the Ummah, and he must turn to Allaah, the Mighty and Majestic.
For this reason you will see that the layman is better in his belief [‘aqeedah] and sincerity than many of the students of knowledge, [students of knowledge] whose only concern is to criticise and refute, [whose only concern is], ‘It was said and he said [qeel wa qaal],’ and, ‘What do you say, O so and so?’ and, ‘What do you say about so and so?’ and, ‘What do you say about that book and about what so and so wrote?’
This is what causes a servant to become lost and takes Allaah, the Mighty and Majestic, away from his heart, and leaves him without any concern except for, ‘It was said … he said …’
So my advice to every person is that he turns to Allaah, the Mighty and Majestic, and that he leaves the people and their disagreements.
This is the best thing.”
