Two Affairs Divide The Muslims
Sh. Ṣāliḥ al-Fawzān حفظه الله إيمانه said: "Nothing divides the Muslims except for two affairs:
1. The first is rebelling against the Muslim ruler and disobeying him.
2. And the second is rebelling against (i.e. opposing) the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ by way of innovations and newly invented matters in the religion.”

The Prophet ﷺ said:

Common Mistakes — Saying ‘In-shaa-Allaah” After Du’aa
From the etiquettes of du’â is having resolve and not connecting your du’â with the will of Allâh.
Do not say: O Allâh, forgive me if You will; have mercy upon so-and-so if You will (i.e., In-shâ-Allâh).
If someone supplicates for you, do not say “In-shâ-Allâh”; rather say “Âmîn”.
If someone says to you, “May Allâh reward you with good,” then say “Âmîn”.
If someone says, “May Allâh forgive you,” then say “Âmîn”.
The Prophet (salAllâhu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
When one of you supplicates, he should supplicate with resolve in his du’â and he should not say, “O Allâh, bestow upon me if you will (i.e., In-shâ-Allâh), for there is none to coerce Allâh.

THE FLUCTUATIONS OF TIME ARE TESTS FROM ALLĀH
Glory is to Allāh Who subjects His slaves (to trials) in order to test their patience and expose their true nature in times of hardship!
Angels prostrated to Adam ('alayhi as-salām), while shortly thereafter he was expelled from Paradise (jannah).
Nūh ('alayhi as-salām) was beaten until fainted, while shortly thereafter he was rescued in the ark, and his enemies were destroyed.
Ibrāhīm ('alayhi as-salām) was thrown in the fire, and then came out to safety (salāma).
Isma'eel ('alayhi as-salām) lied down in surrender to be slaughtered, then he came to safety, and his praise remained.
Ya'qūb ('alayhi as-salām) lost his eyesight after losing his son, and then he regained it after reuniting with his son.
Mūsā ('alayhi as-salām) was a shepherd, and then was elevated to a rank where he spoke to Allāh (taqlīm).
Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) was an orphan and faced many hardships from his enemies, and from financial difficulties; yet he persevered and was firm as a mountain. After his objective was fulfilled and when he conquered Makkah, the Angel of death came to him and took his soul while going through the pangs of death.
Whoever observes the sea of life, knows how its waves should be received and know how to be patient while dealing the changing days, will not panic when calamity (bilā') strikes. And will not become overly happy when good times (rikhā') arrive immediately.

Ṣalāt ar-Raghā
Imām an-Nawawī رحمه الله said: “May Allāh kill the one who introduced (this Bid’ah) and fabricated it, for it is an evil Bid’ah, a Bid’ah that (constitutes of) misguidance and ignorance and in it is open opposition (to Sharī'ah).”
● [شرح مسلم]
Ibn Ḥajar رحمه الله was asked: “Is it permissible to pray Ṣalāt ar-Raghā
● [الفتاوى الكبرى ٢\٢٣٩-٢٦٢]
Ibn al-Jawzī رحمه الله: “Ṣalāt ar-Raghā`ib is a fabricated lie upon the Prophet ﷺ, had it been prescribed the Salaf would not be unaware of it, and it (this innovation) was introduced after 400 Ḥijrī.”
● [الموسوعة الفقهية ٢\٢٦٢]
Shaykh al-'Uthaymīn رحمه الله said: As for what is called Salāh ar-Raghā'ib which comprises of 1000 rak'ah that is prayed on the first night of Rajab or the first friday nightnof Rajab, then this is also not correct and it is not legislated (by the Sharī'ah)."

Ṣalāt ar-Raghāib, a prayer that is said on the night of first Friday of the month of Rajab is an evil Bid’ah, so be warned and warn others, below are the statements of the Imāms of Ahlus-Sunnah concerning this innovation:Imām an-Nawawī رحمه الله said: “May Allāh kill the one who introduced (this Bid’ah) and fabricated it, for it is an evil Bid’ah, a Bid’ah that (constitutes of) misguidance and ignorance and in it is open opposition (to Sharī'ah).”

ib in congregation or not?”, he said: “.. It is an innovation which is disliked and condemned, the Ḥadīth regarding it is fabricated and it is not permissible to act upon it (i.e pray it) be it individually or in congregation.”
● [الفتاوى الفقهية الكبرى ١\٢١٦]
Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله: “This (Ṣalāt ar-Raghāib) is not prescribed in Islām, that is is the agreement of the Imāms of Islām and also this is what has been stated by the respected scholars of this Ummah, no one allowed it except for an ignorant innovator, for innovations as such open the door to altering the Sharī'ah of Deen, this prayer was not offered by the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ nor any Companion nor any Tabi'ī nor any Imām, the scholar have a consensus upon it that the Ḥadīth regarding this prayer that has been narrated from the Prophet ﷺ is a fabricated lie, hence ‘Ulamā said it is *forbidden* (to offer this prayer) and it is not recommended.” ● [الفتاوى الكبرى ٢\٢٣٩-٢٦٢]
