What does fear do to our body? Fear comes from satan
Quran 3:175: It is only the devil who would make (men) fear his partisans. Fear them not; fear Me, if ye are true believers.
Fear prepares us to react to danger. Once we sense a potential danger, our body releases hormones that slow or shut down functions not needed for survival such as our digestive system and sharpen functions that might help us survive such as eyesight. Our heart rate increases, and blood flows to muscles so we can run faster.
So what happens when we are living in constant or chronic fear? Weakens immune system: Fear weakens our immune system and can cause cardiovascular damage, gastrointestinal problems such as ulcers and irritable bowel syndrome, and decreased fertility. It can lead to accelerated ageing and even premature death.
Impair memory: Fear can impair formation of long term memories and cause damage to certain parts of the brain, such as the hippocampus. This can make it even more difficult to regulate fear and can leave a person anxious most of the time. To someone in chronic fear, the world looks scary and their memories confirm that.
Slow brain processing functions: Fear can interrupt processes in our brains that allow us to regulate emotions, read non-verbal cues and other information presented to us, reflect before acting, and act ethically. This impacts our thinking and decision making in negative ways, leaving us susceptible to intense emotions and impulsive reactions. All of these effects can leave us unable to act appropriately.
Long term mental health problems: Other consequences of long-term fear include fatigue, clinical depression, and PSTD.
DO NOT LET THIS FEAR GET TO YOUR MIND, BODY AND SOUL.

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Allah has divided mercy into one hundred parts; and He retained with Him ninety-nine parts, and sent down to earth one part. Through this one part creatures deal with one another with compassion, so much so that an animal lifts its hoof over its young lest it should hurt it".
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim]
Another narration is: Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Allah has one hundred mercies, out of which He has sent down only one for jinn, mankind, animals and insects, through which they love one another and have compassion for one another; and through it, wild animals care for their young. Allah has retained ninety-nine mercies to deal kindly with His slaves on the Day of Resurrection."
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
Another narration in Muslim is reported: by Salman Al-Farisi: Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Allah has hundred mercies, out of which one mercy is used by his creation for mutual love and affection. Ninety-nine mercies are kept for the Day of Resurrection."
Another narration is: Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Allah created one hundred units of mercy on the Day He created the heavens and the earth. Each one of them can contain all that is between the heaven and the earth. Of them, he put one on earth, through which a mother has compassion for her children and animals and birds have compassion for one another. On the Day of Resurrection, He will perfect and complete His Mercy". (That is He will use all the hundred units of mercy for his slaves on that Day).

Du’a and Patience
I think part of the test is when a believer supplicates and receives no response, and he repeats the du’aa for a long time and sees no sign of a response. He should realize that this is a test and needs patience.

Don't think that by worshipping Allaah, you're doing Him a favor. Allaah does not need us but we need Him.
All your efforts—may it be bad or good deeds—are all for yourself.

Greed is a destructive force that can harm a person in many ways. A man’s greed is more dangerous than two hungry wolves in a flock of sheep.
Abdullah ibn Amr reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Beware of greed, for it was only greed that destroyed those before you. It commanded them to be miserly and they did so. It commanded them to sever their family ties and they did so. It commanded them to behave wickedly and they did so.”

The best 10 days of the year
(First 10 days of Zul - Hijjah)
————————————
”والفجر! وليالٍ عشر! والشفع والوتر”
(I swear by the dawn!
I swear by the ten days (of first Zul Hijjah)
I swear by the odd (9th day) and by the even (10th day of Zul Hijjah).
I thank Allah the most Merciful, for granting us such huge opportunities along with Ramadhan,
THE BEST TEN DAYS OF THE YEAR
The first day of Zul Hijjah is going to be on:
Tuesday June 20th, 2023
(This is going to be most likely, as we’ll wait for Makkah decision about when would be the Hajj day, because this Eid celebration solely depends upon Hajj).
Some virtues of these days:
"ما من أيام العمل فيهن خير وأحب إلى الله من هذه الأيام، قالوا: ولا الجهاد في سبيل الله؟ قال: ولا الجهاد في سبيل الله، إلا رجل خرج بنفسه وماله فلم يرجع منهما بشيئ"
(رواه الجماعة إلا مسلم)
Prophet peace be upon him said:
"There are no days, in which, the righteous deeds are more beloved to Almighty Allah then these ten days (the first ten days of Zul Hijjah), Sahabah/ the companions RA, asked: even the Jihaad in the path of Allah? He (Peace be upon him) said: Nor the Jihaad in Allah's path, except a person who sacrificed both himself and his wealth in Allah’s path".
(Reported by Imam Bukhari, Abu Dawood, Tirmizi, Ibn Majah and others..).
Our Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) used to fast first nine days of it (as reported by his wives Hafsah, and Juwairiyyah RA: "Four things, Prophet peace be upon him, never missed in his life:
1- Fasting on Aashura (10th of Muharram), specifically,
and in fact, fasting all first 10 days of Muharram
2- Fasting of all the 10 days of Zil-Hijjah, specifically 9th of Zul Hijjah, (if not performing Hajj).
3- Fasting the 3 days of each month (each loner month: 13, 14 and 15),
4- And performing the two Raka'at before Fajr Fardh (Sunatal Fajr).
Reported by Imam Ahmed and Nasaai.
- Especially the 9th of Zul-Hijjah Prophet of ALLAH (peace be upon him) taught us, that: "fasting of it washes the sins of TWO YEARS, the previous as well as the coming year". (Sahih Muslim, Abu Dawood, Nasaai, Ibn Majah..)
Steps to avail the benefits of these days:
- Making allot of ZIKR,
on top is Quran recitation
- Saying Takbiraat out loud, which will start from the Fajr of Arafah day, until all the Hujjaj leave Mina (Asr of 13th Zul Hijjah).
-Those who will sacrifice, should not cut their nails or hair, until they sacrifice, it’s a SUNNAH of Prophet peace be upon him.
- Sacrificing for the sake of ALLAH, a goat/ sheep/ ram, on behalf of all family members living under one roof, it is upon, everyone who has to pay Zakah, he/she must sacrifice, and we could have a share of seven persons in a cow or a camel.
Prophet peace be upon said: "Who ever could afford to sacrifice, but chooses not to, should not get close to our Masjid/ Eid prayer field".
(Mustadrak Hakim).
- Days of sacrifice are: Starting after Eid prayer, 10, 11 and 12 of Zul-Hijjah until the Maghrib of 12th.
- Fasting all nine days of it, especially 9th of zul Hijjah.
- performing Tahajjud/ optional nightly prayer
- Giving charity
- When/ if Eid occurs on Friday, we are given the choice to either pray "JUMUAH' or ZUHUR" Salah, after performing EID on same day.

May Allah the Almighty accepts our Ibadaat, May HE protect our children grant them piety n righteousness along with our families our community members and all the Muslims

May Allah the Almighty reward you all
In these days, of sacrifice,
Please do not forget to help your brothers,
who’re suffering all around the world.

What do we say to people who go to Haj and Umrah and post their selfies on social media?
They also make videos with songs and dance.
So the question is whom was the ibadah done to? Or what was the purpose of this worship?was it solely for Allah azwajal or was it Ar Ria's show-off for Duniya?
Clueless and confused
Where is Ibadha here? Will our ibadah be accepted or not? What were our intentions while we performed these acts of ibadha?
Well, let’s ponder over this. In Shaa Allah!!
Because any/every act of ibadah is between Allah and his slaves. Secret and pure. Solely for the sake of Allah azwajal!!
