SAVING ONESELF FROM DOUBTFUL THINGS & THE CONDITION OF THE HEART
Surah Al-Baqarah
No.172: O you who believe (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism)! Eat of the lawful things that We have provided you * with, and be grateful to Allah, if it is indeed He Whom you worship.
* Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol.1, Hadith No.49
Narrated An-Nu'man bij Bashir رضي الله عنه : I heard Allah's Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم saying, "Both legal and illegal things are evident but in between them there are doubtful (unclear) things, and most of the people have no knowledge about them. So whoever saves himself from these unclear things, he saves his religion and his honour. And whoever indulges in these unclear things is like a shepherd who grazes (his animals) near the Hima (private pasture) of someone else, and at any moment he is liable to get in it. (O people!) Beware! Every king has a Hima and the Hima of Allah عزَّ وَجَلَّ on the earth is His illegal (forbidden) things. Beware! There is a piece of flesh in the body if it becomes good (reformed), the whole body becomes good, but if it gets spoilt, the whole body gets spoilt and that is the heart."

The Power of Honesty: Building Trust and Authentic Connections
Honesty is a fundamental value that has been cherished by societies throughout history. It is a virtue that transcends cultural boundaries and is universally recognized as a cornerstone of personal integrity and healthy relationships.
In this post, we will delve into the significance of honesty, explore its benefits, and discuss how practicing honesty can lead to a more fulfilling and authentic life.
Abd-Allaah ibn Masood (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
You must be truthful, for truthfulness leads to righteousness and righteousness leads to Paradise. A man will keep speaking the truth and striving to speak the truth until he will be recorded with Allaah as a siddeeq (speaker of the truth). Beware of telling lies, for lying leads to immorality and immorality leads to Hellfire. A man will keep telling lies and striving to tell lies until he is recorded with Allaah as a liar.
(Reported by Muslim, 4721)
🌺 The Essence of Honesty
Honesty is not merely about telling the truth; it encompasses a broader commitment to living a life that aligns with your core values and principles. It involves being truthful in your words, actions, and intentions, as well as being transparent and authentic in your interactions with others. At its core, honesty is about being genuine and trustworthy.
🌿The Benefits of Honesty
Building Trust: Trust is the foundation of any successful relationship, be it personal or professional. When you are consistently honest, people can rely on you. Trust is fragile and takes time to build, but it can be shattered in an instant through dishonesty.
🫂Strengthening Relationships: Honesty fosters deeper connections with others. When you are open and sincere, people feel more comfortable around you. This leads to stronger, more meaningful relationships with friends, family, and colleagues.
❤️🩹Conflict Resolution: Honesty is crucial in resolving conflicts. Honest communication allows parties to address issues openly, leading to more effective problem-solving and potentially strengthening the relationship in the process.
✨Self-Respect: Being honest with yourself is just as important as being honest with others. It means acknowledging your strengths and weaknesses, making responsible choices, and living in harmony with your values. This self-respect can boost your self-esteem and overall well-being.
🧠Reducing Stress: Lying or hiding the truth can be mentally and emotionally taxing. The fear of being discovered can lead to anxiety and stress. Being honest frees you from this burden and promotes mental clarity and peace.
Challenges in Practicing Honesty
While the benefits of honesty are clear, it's important to acknowledge that practicing honesty can be challenging. Society often rewards dishonesty or concealing one's true feelings, especially in situations where the truth might be uncomfortable or unpopular. Additionally, admitting mistakes or vulnerabilities can be difficult. However, these challenges should not deter you from striving for honesty.
Tips for Practicing
👀Honesty Self-Reflection: Take time to reflect on your values and personal ethics. Understand what honesty means to you and why it's important.
👂Open Communication: Foster a culture of open and honest communication in your relationships. Encourage others to be truthful with you as well.
📎Own Your Mistakes: When you make a mistake, admit it, and take responsibility. This not only demonstrates honesty but also shows maturity and accountability.
🌡️Consider the Consequences: Before speaking or acting, consider the potential consequences of your actions. Honesty may be uncomfortable in the short term, but it usually leads to better long-term outcomes.
💝Practice Empathy: Understand that honesty should be paired with empathy and compassion. Be sensitive to how your words may affect others and strive to communicate with kindness.

AFTER YOUR FUNERAL
===================
One hour after your funeral, your family goes back to their homes and starts taking care of your relatives, food and beverages, meanwhile, your body melts in soil...
Two hours later, some people call and apologize for not being able to attend the funeral, meanwhile, some people in your house start talking about politics and sports...
Six hours later, only your immediate family remains and everyone else returns to their home and start planning their next day...
Twenty-four hours later, your internal organs start to dissolve, meanwhile, messages and calls from people who don't know that you are dead continue to arrive on your mobile phone...
Three days later, interviews are held with candidates to fill your vacant position at your workplace, at that time your body begins to swell...
A week or two later, your son and daughter return to their work and your body continues to rot...
A month later your children will meet with a lawyer for property sharing while your teeth and nails continue to fall out...
A year later someone says, "Wow is that all? It's like yesterday".
Ten years later, a friend sees and remembers you in an old photo, but today all that remains of your body are your bones...
It takes such a short time to completely forget your existence in this world! Now reconsider the events and people you are obsessed with today...
SubhanAllah Do you think it's worth it?
Wake up and be serious with your Deen!
YAA ALLAH! GRANT US A LIFE THAT DOESN'T REGRETS 🤲🏼

Had We sent down this Quran on a mountain, you would surely have seen it humbling itself and rending asunder by the fear of Allah. Such are the parables which We put forward to mankind that they may reflect.
English - Tafsir ibn kathir
Asserting the Greatness of the Qur'an
Allah the Exalted emphasizes the greatness of the Qur'an, its high status and of being worthy of making hearts humble and rent asunder upon hearing it, because of the true promises and sure threats that it contains,
Had We sent down this Qur'an on a mountain, you would surely have seen it humbling itself and rent asunder by the fear of Allah.
If this is the case with a mountain which is hard and huge, that if it was made able to comprehend and understand this Qur'an, will feel humble and crumble from fear of Allah the Exalted, then what about you -- O mankind Why do your hearts not feel softness and humbleness from the fear of Allah, even though you understand Allah's command and comprehend His Book
This is why Allah said,
Such are the parables which We put forward to mankind that they may reflect.
There is a Hadith of the Mutawatir grade that states,
The Messenger of Allah had someone make him a Minbar. Before that, he used to stand next to a tree trunk in the Masjid to deliver speeches. So, when the Minbar was made and placed in the Masjid, the Prophet came to deliver a speech and passed the tree trunk, headed towards the Minbar, the tree trunk started weeping, just like an infant. The tree trunk missed hearing the remembrance of Allah and the revelation that were being recited next to it.
In one of the narrations for this Hadith, Al-Hasan Al-Basri said after narrating the Hadith,
"You - mankind -- are more worthy to miss the Messenger of Allah than the tree trunk!"
Likewise, this honorable Ayah asks that if the solid mountains feel humble and are rent asunder from the fear of Allah, if it heard Allah's Speech and comprehended it, what about you -- O mankind -- who heard the Qur'an and understood it Allah the Exalted said in another Ayah,
And if there had been a Qur'an with which mountains could be moved, or the earth could be cloven asunder, or the dead could be made to speak. (13:31)
We mentioned the meaning of this Ayah as stating that, if there were a Qur'an that has these qualities, it would be this Qur'an.
Allah the Exalted said in another Ayah,
And indeed, there are stones out of which rivers gush forth, and indeed, there are of them (stones) which split asunder so that water flows from them, and indeed, there are of them which fall down for fear of Allah. (2:74)
Glorifying Allah the Exalted by mentioning His Names and Attributes
Allah the Exalted said,

Whenever you find yourself in a difficult situation, whether financial, emotional, physical, etc. always always turn to ALLAH ﷻ first through Dua and worship, for he alone is capable of solving all your affairs in an instant, if he wills ﷻ.
Abdullah Ibn Massoud رضي الله عنه narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever falls into a troubled, difficult situation and seeks the help of the people, his difficult situation shall not end.
And whoever falls into a troubled difficult situation and seeks the help of ALLAH ﷻ, Allah will send provisions to him, sooner or later.”

“The diseases of the heart, mind and soul are more difficult than those of the body because the utmost that diseases of the body can do is lead those suffering from them to death. As for diseases of the heart, mind and soul, they lead those suffering from them to eternal misery and there is no cure for this kind of disease other than knowledge of true Islam.”

“Ibn Sina (Avicenna), the famous Muslim scientist, put two lambs in separate cages. Lambs were the same age and the same weight, and fed with the same food. All conditions were equal. However, he put a wolf in the third cage. Only one lamb could see the wolf but not the other lamb.
Months later, the lamb who saw the wolf was cranky, restless, poorly developing, and losing weight. The lamb died whilst the other lamb remained healthy. Although the wolf did nothing to the lamb next to it, the fear and stress that lamb lived in killed it prematurely, while the other lamb that did not see the wolf, was peaceful and developed well with a healthy weight gain.
In this experiment lbn Sina demonstrated the importance of mental health. Do not trouble yourself with unnecessary worry and concerns. Learn to rely on Allah and take care of your mental health.
"And whoever is mindful of Allah, He always prepares a way out, and He provides for him from sources he never could imagine. And if anyone puts his trust in Allah, sufficient is Allah for him. For Allah will surely accomplish His purpose: verily, for all things has Allah appointed a due proportion."(Quran, 65: 2-3)

WHAT ENVY AND GREED DOES.
‘Abdullah Ibn ‘Umar (RadiyAllahu ‘anhu) said,
“While on the Ark, Nooh (‘alayhis-salam) noticed an old man whom he did not recognise. Nooh (‘Alayhis-salām) inquired, ‘What brought you here?’
He replied, ‘I came to strike the hearts of your followers, so their hearts become with me, while their bodies with you.’
Nooh (‘Alayhis-salām) responded, ‘Leave, O enemy of Allah.’
Iblis said, ‘There are five things that cause people to become destroyed (deviated). I will inform you of three and not of the other two’.
{Then it was revealed to Nooh (‘Alayhis-salām) that he needed not know the three, but that he should enquire about the two. (so he inquired about just two)}
Iblis said, ‘The two that are certain to work are:
ENVY:
I was cursed because of my envy, and became a stoned devil and the second is
GREED:
(To have more): The entire Paradise was made permissible to Adam (‘alayhis-salam). I got what I wanted from him because of his eagerness.’”

And we find Bananas in Winter and in Summer.”
📚 Imām Ibn al Qayyim رحمه الله (d. 751H) mentions this in his book al Ṭib al Nabawī, a narration from Khatīb al Baghdādī رحمه الله (d. 463H).🤍
