One cold night a billionaire met an old poor man outside. He asked him, "don't you feel cold being outside, and not wearing any coat?" The old man replied, "l don't have it but I got used to that." The billionaire replied, "Wait for me. I will enter my house now and bring you one. ' The poor man got so happy and said he will wait for him.The billionaire entered his house and got busy there and forgot the poor man. In the morning he remembered that poor old man and he went out to search for him but he found him dead because of cold, but he left a NOTE, "When I didn't have any warm clothes, I had the power to fight the cold because I was used to that. But when you promised me to help me, I got attached to your promise and that took my power of resisting.

MORAL: Don't promise anything if you can't keep your promise. It might not mean anything to you, But it could mean everything to someone else.

Hadith : The rewards of the troubles which comes to the Believers

RasoolAllah Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam Said Affliction will continue to trouble the believers, men and women, in their bodies, their families, and their property until they meet Allah Almighty purified of every wrong action

Reported by Numan bin Bashir (RA):

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said,

Reported by Nu
man bin Bashir (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "The likeness of the man who observes the limits prescribed by Allah and that of the man who transgresses them is like the people who get on board a ship after casting lots. Some of them are in its lower deck and some of them in its upper (deck).

Those who are in its lower (deck), when they require water, go to the occupants of the upper deck, and say to them : If we make a hole in the bottom of the ship, we shall not harm you.' If they (the occupants of the upper deck) leave them to carry out their design they all will be drowned. But if they do not let them go ahead (with their plan), all of them will remain safe".[Al-Bukhari

This hadith, reported by Nu
man bin Bashir and recorded in Sahih al-Bukhari, uses a metaphorical story to illustrate an important Islamic principle regarding communal responsibility and the consequences of sin.

The hadith compares a community of Muslims to passengers on a ship, which is divided into an upper and a lower deck. The people on the lower deck, when they need water, propose to bore a hole in the bottom of the ship to access water directly, not realizing that this action would cause the ship to sink and harm everyone on board.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝:

1. 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: The ship represents the Muslim community (Ummah). Just like the safety of everyone on the ship depends on each individual's actions, the well-being of a community depends on the behavior and choices of its members.

2. 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐢𝐧: The act of drilling a hole in the ship symbolizes sinful or harmful actions. The hadith illustrates how the sins of a few can have consequences for the entire community. It emphasizes that preventing sin is not just an individual responsibility but a collective one.

3. 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲: Those on the upper deck (who can be seen as the leaders or more knowledgeable members of the community) have a responsibility to prevent those below from making harmful decisions, not just for the latter's safety but for the entire community's welfare.

4. 𝐖𝐢𝐬𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐢𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠: The story also highlights the importance of wisdom and foresight in decision-making. Actions should be evaluated not just on immediate benefits but on their overall impact on the community.

Overall, the hadith teaches that in a community, everyone is responsible for each other. Allowing sinful actions to go unchecked can lead to the downfall of the whole community, just as everyone on the ship would drown if the lower-deck passengers were allowed to bore a hole.

It underscores the importance of collective responsibility in preventing harm and maintaining the well-being of the community.

Narrated Abu Huraira radi Allahu Anhu

I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying "From among my followers, a group of 70,000 will enter Paradise without being asked for their accounts, Their faces will be shining like the moon." 'Ukasha bin Muhsin Al-Asadi got up, lifting his covering sheet and said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) Invoke Allah for me that He may include me with them." The Prophet (ﷺ) said! "O Allah! Make him from them." Then another man from Al-Ansar got up and said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Invoke Allah for me that He may include me with them." On that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "'Ukasha has anticipated you."

During the hardest times of your life, Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala will filter out the people that are good for you and the people that are bad for you. Thank Allah for the signs, the warnings, learn to accept it and let go. Truth be told, not everyone deserves a place in your life.

Debts can give you severe punishment after death, beware.

One of the Causes of punishment in the grave is debt.

Debts,to those of us borrowing money(on phone)and credit or data let know is Haram as far as interest is involved, and ask yourself how will your family know you own on your phone for them to pay when you die?

One of the things that harm the deceased in his grave is debt that he owes. It was narrated that Sa’d ibn al-Atwal said: My brother died and left behind three hundred dinars, and he left behind young children. I wanted to spend on them, but the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to me: “Your brother is being detained by his debt, so go and pay it off.” So I went and paid it off, then I came and said: O Messenger of Allaah, I have paid it off for him, and there is nothing left but a woman who is claiming two dinars, but she does not have any proof. He said: “Give it to her, for she is telling the truth.” Narrated by Ahmad (16776) and Ibn Maajah (2/82); classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami’ (1550).

May Allah grant us enough provisions and protect us from debts. Aameen

It's the third of the night up until Fajr. Pray and/or make dua.

Allaah descends to the lowest heaven and it's one of the best times for our supplications to be answered

Abu Ayyub reported: The Messenger of Allāh, peace and blessings be upon him, said,

“The witr prayer is a duty upon every Muslim. Whoever likes to pray it with five cycles, let him do so. Whoever likes to pray it with three cycles, let him do so. Whoever likes to pray it with one cycle, let him do so.”
