A fully funded, one-year postdoc position is available in Mohamed Ahmed’s Transportation Lab (https://lnkd.in/gEC-G-kZ) in the Civil and Architectural Engineering and Construction Management Department at the University of Cincinnati. The research will be on areas of Connected and Automated Vehicles, Microsimulation, experimental and quasi-experimental behavioral studies, Big Data Analytics, Advanced Statistical Modeling of Traffic Safety Data, Human Factors, and Naturalistic Driving Studies. The position is available immediately and it will be open until filled. Experience with Connected and Automated Vehicle technologies is a huge plus but is not required if the applicant has a strong background in relevant fields (e.g., statistics, VISSIM Microsimulation, human behavior, Surrogate Measures of Safety, etc.) and a desire to engage in a federally funded Automated Vehicle Research.
