🇮🇹 Italian Police Unit Confirms Old Report Was Never Investigated
The special unit of the Italian state police (DIGOS) has confirmed that “evidence exists” of a report filed decades ago regarding sniper tourists but no criminal investigation was ever launched. The case was likely dismissed, which is standard procedure after so many years, according to the Italian outlet Panorama.
In an article by Fausto Biloslavo, written in collaboration with journalist Eldin Hadžović, Panorama reveals that members of an airsoft club from Trieste warned Italian police between 1993 and 1995 about an alleged offer “to go to Sarajevo and shoot with a sniper.” Despite this, no investigation was ever opened.

A border crossing on a newly completed highway link to EU member Croatia will remain closed after a Bosniak official blocked its opening.
The decision comes in response to the Republika Srpska (RS) entity violating the law on the distribution of VAT revenues for the past two years. Under this system, RS has been receiving significantly more funds than it is ennoscriptd to.
As a result of this imbalance, RS now owes the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina over 100 million KM in unpaid revenues.
