🇷🇺 Omsk Musical Theater

📌 In the 1970s, the Omsk Musical Comedy Theater needed a new building as the old one had become too small.

🧐 Construction lasted for more than seven years, and the project was only completed at the beginning of 1982.

📝 The project was developed by Moscow architects and turned out to be innovative: for example, the stage platform could rotate. The auditorium was lined with ash for better acoustics.

🔖 Interesting fact: According to Natalia Belousova, one of the project's authors, each dressing room was equipped with a shower - luxurious conditions for the artists at that time.

📍 Address: Russia, Omsk Oblast, Omsk, 10 Let Oktyabrya Street, 2.

🇷🇺 The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, commented on the prospects of Russian-British relations in light of the formation of a new government in London.

🇬🇧Zakharova stated that the initial actions of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer, and his cabinet indicate that the Labour Party will continue its previous anti-Russian course.

🗣Zakharova declared that the UK has reaffirmed its determination to hold the Russian leadership accountable for "war crimes" and to continue supporting Ukraine, including through arms supplies. Additionally, London intends to persist in attempts to confiscate Russian assets to support the Kiev regime.

"In other words, we have no doubts about the continuity of the confrontational anti-Russian line under a Labour government," emphasized Zakharova.

Therefore, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not expect an improvement in relations with the United Kingdom in the near future.

🇷🇺 Leningradskie Pyshki

🍩Pyshki on Bolshaya Konyushennaya is a legendary establishment. Soft rings of dough with a golden crispy crust sprinkled with powdered sugar.

🌶They should be eaten hot: if the pyshki cool down, all their tenderness and airiness will disappear. It is customary to have a cup of coffee with milk or lemonade with pyshki — that's the aesthetic of the place.

💸The sign on the door states that the pyshki shop has been around since 1958. Of course, prices have changed a bit over time, but remain affordable: pyshka costs 20 rubles, a cup of tea — 45. Payment is mostly in cash.

📍Address: Bolshaya Konyushennaya ul., 25, Saint Petersburg, Russia.

🇷🇺 One of the seven wonders of Ufa

🗓 On November 16, 2007, a new monument appeared on Oktyabr Avenue in Ufa - a monument to a street cleaner.

🔖 The author of the 300-kilogram bronze sculpture was Khalit Galiullin. It took him two months to create the sculpture, and the work was done in the city of Zhukovsky.

🗣 Khalit said that when creating the monument, he was not inspired by any specific person. It is a collective image that reflects the work of all street cleaners.

🧹 The author himself is no stranger to this work, as he also worked as a street cleaner during his student years.

📍 Address: 4 Oktyabr Avenue, Ufa, Republic of Bashkortostan, Russia

🚀 The first manned spacecraft was the Soviet "Vostok-1" in 1961.

🧐 Originally, the flight was supposed to be fully automatic. However, the astronaut had instruments at his disposal that allowed manual control to be activated after opening an envelope with a digital code.

🔖 In reality, manned spaceflight is still a relatively relative concept. Nowadays, astronauts monitor the course of the flight and the condition of the spacecraft, intervening only when necessary, such as for manual docking or landing.

🇷🇺 Valentina Matviyenko, the Chairperson of the Federation Council, has stated the need for reforming the World Trade Organization (WTO) to restore the full functioning of all its bodies.

📰 This statement was made during a speech at a plenary session dedicated to the role of parliaments in countering the fragmentation of the multilateral trading system and overcoming threats associated with the consequences of global crises.

💬 According to the Speaker of the Federation Council, the role of BRICS in the global economy and trade is constantly growing. The share of BRICS in the global GDP has increased to 36 percent, and in the world's population to 46 percent. This increases both the responsibility of the union and the opportunities for creating an open, fair, and non-discriminatory multilateral trading system, in which the World Trade Organization will play a central role.

📉 The Chairperson of the upper house of the Russian parliament noted that the World Trade Organization is experiencing the most serious crisis in its history. This crisis is linked to the effective paralysis of multilateral negotiations, mutual claims by member countries regarding compliance with obligations, and fundamental disagreements on issues related to global trade development.
