The forest Slavic spirit – «Leshy», protector of animals. 👻🌲

👴 He looks like a tall man with a long beard and hair all over his body. He is essentially not evil—he walks through the forest, protecting it from people, and occasionally reveals himself; for this, he can take on any form—plant, animal, or even human.

👀 You can distinguish a Leshy from other people by two signs—his eyes burn with a magical fire, and his shoes are worn backward.

🤔 You can either befriend the Leshy or find yourself in a sad situation; it all depends on your attitude towards the forest. The folks from Greenpeace will definitely be able to get to know him better!

Russian data centers prepare to cease operations with Google.

📱 Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy Alexander Khinshtein announced that Russian data centers cooperating with Google plan to stop working with the company on "gray schemes" in the coming days.

📱🐌 According to Khinshtein, this will lead to an even sharper decline in YouTube loading speeds in Russia (up to 70%).

"Gray schemes" are typically used to bypass restrictions and sanctions imposed by governments. In this case, it is unclear what exactly these schemes involve, but they may include the use of proxy servers or VPNs to access Google content that would otherwise be blocked in Russia.

😧 If Russian data centers cease operations with Google, it could significantly impact the availability of Google services, such as YouTube, Gmail, and Google Drive, for Russian users.

⚠️ It was previously reported that Google suspended all advertising operations in Russia due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. The company also restricted access to some of its services for Russian users, including Google Pay and Google News.

📌 It is noted that YouTube will remain accessible to Russian users, but content uploads will take longer.

Savyolovskaya – the black-and-white film of the Moscow Metro. 🚇 🎬

🔝 This station leads in the number of photos shared from the capital's subway on social networks.

💡 Here, the focus is not on pomp and expense, but on the idea. White minimalism in the hall’s cladding, coupled with walls made of uncovered tubes – cast iron fastening elements. The result is a stylish outcome.

⚙️ In part of the pylons, there are no decorative panels; instead, transparent glass allows you to see how the actual tubes are secured. You can only see the "skeleton" of the Moscow Metro here.

🇷🇺🇷🇺🗣Vladimir Putin is delivering a speech at the Main Naval Parade in celebration of Navy Day on the Admiralty Embankment.

This holiday we always celebrate solemnly, with respect and love for our renowned Fleet, with pride in our country – a maritime power. Russia has gained this vital status due to its geopolitical position, great geographical discoveries, and immense contribution to the study of the World Ocean, but most importantly – through the victories, hard work, will, courage, and talent of our naval commanders and military sailors. Blessed by the glorious St. Andrew's flag, they have been and remain reliable guardians of the maritime expanses of our homeland, serving faithfully on ships and submarines, in naval infantry, coastal troops, and aviation units. They serve in the name of life, happiness, and the well-being of their fellow citizens.

Other statements by Vladimir Putin during his speech at the main naval parade in St. Petersburg.

“Russia will consider itself free from a moratorium on the deployment of medium- and shorter-range missiles in the event of the appearance of American missiles in Germany”

🟢 The Russian Federation sees that important Russian objects with a flight time of about 10 minutes will be within the reach of American missiles in Germany.

🟢 The United States is escalating tensions due to Russian strategic aviation flights, although they themselves have always patrolled Russian borders.

🟢 The development of a number of strike systems is being completed, warning of mirror measures for the deployment of US missiles in the world.

🟢 Russia will continue to develop air defense systems at near and far borders.

🟢 The fleet will continue to equip the fleet with hypersonic systems.

🟢 Russia is a maritime power, and on Navy Day this makes us especially proud:
