🇷🇺 A piece of Japan in Russia: Japanese Garden

🇯🇵🌳 The Japanese garden on the territory of the resort complex "Mriya Resort & SPA" is a real oasis of calm and harmony, created thanks to the efforts of the custodian of the imperial gardens, Shiro Nakane.

🌄🎏 Every element of the garden is thought out to the smallest detail in accordance with the principles of Japanese aesthetics: here you can admire views of the sea, mountains and waterfalls, as well as feed koi carps swimming in the ponds. It is believed that feeding carp brings good luck and happiness.

🍵🫖 In addition, traditional tea ceremonies and other events are held in the Japanese Garden, allowing guests to plunge into the atmosphere of the Land of the Rising Sun.

📍Address: Republic of Crimea, Yalta urban district, Opolznevoye village (Hotel Mriya)

⚡️No payment!

🥇💲 At the Olympics in Paris, Russian athletes performing under a neutral flag were left without prize payments from Russia.

📰✔️💸 According to information received from representatives of the Russian Olympic Committee, those athletes who were preparing for the Games but were unable to take part due to suspension by the IOC will receive amounts ranging from 150 to 500 thousand rubles. At the same time, all other athletes performing under neutral status will not be able to count on traditional financial rewards.

This decision calls into question the motivation of athletes who are accustomed to high rewards for their achievements: since 2012, they received about four million rubles for gold, 2.5 million for silver, and 1.7 million rubles for bronze.

🇷🇺💪 15 Russian athletes went to the Olympics, including seven tennis players, three cyclists, three canoeists, one swimmer and one trampoline jumper.

⚡️ Measures will be taken!

📰📱 The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, stated that there are serious grounds for taking action against the video hosting service YouTube.

🇷🇺⚠️ She noted that numerous systematic violations of Russian laws and disregard for the rights of the Russian audience give regulators the right to use the "appropriate legal toolkit".

☄️🚫 Zakharova stressed that the YouTube administration has blocked the accounts of Russian media and government agencies, and also recalled the blocking of videos published on the official MFA channel.

"We see many good reasons for taking action against the YouTube video hosting service. Numerous systematic violations of the legislation of the Russian Federation, demonstrative disregard for the domestic audience and its interests leave the regulatory authorities of our country the right to use the appropriate legal toolkit," she said.
🖥 These remarks hint at the possibility of regulating YouTube's activities in Russia, which could lead to significant changes in the platform's operations in the Russian market.

⚡️ Didn't Go to the Olympics, but Won Anyway!

📰🏊‍♀🥇 Reigning world record holder Evgeniia Chikunova will be officially announced at Russian competitions as a "two-time winner over the Olympic champions", despite the fact that she did not even participate in the Olympics.

👀 The All-Russian Swimming Federation made this decision based on the fact that the 19-year-old athlete showed a better result at the Russian Cup in April than the winners of the Paris Olympics in the 100 and 200 meters breaststroke.

"For the next four years at all-Russian competitions, we will announce Chikunova as a two-time winner over the champions of the 2024 Olympic Games," Vladimir Salnikov, President of the All-Russian Swimming Federation, told Match TV.

🪙 In addition, Chikunova will receive a cash reward of 4 million rubles, as the All-Russian Swimming Federation promised to pay Russian athletes 2 million rubles for each result at the Russian Cup that exceeds the results of the Olympic winners.

🇷🇺🏆 Nevertheless, during the broadcast of the Olympic Games, the Russian flag was shown during the final women's swim - at the moment when Chikunova's world record in the 200 meters was displayed on the screen.
