📰🇿🇲 🇷🇺 A volunteer camp is being held in Zambia from August 4 to 14, with the participation of 11 volunteers from Russia.

🕊️ In the Kalingalinga compound, located in Lusaka, the capital of Zambia, volunteers from different countries are gathering for the second time to dedicate their lives to helping Zambian girls with their education and general development over a period of ten days.

💪 The assistance is provided within the framework of the Zambian non-profit organization Women Empowerment and Development Community. It was established in 2021 by Yanina Dubeikovskaya, a philosopher, philanthropist and entrepreneur who lived in this African country for four years and is now a member of the working group on humanitarian cooperation under the Expert Council on Development and Support of Comprehensive Partnership with African Countries under the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

❤️ To date, more than 100 girls are under the patronage of this organization, who study mathematics and natural sciences for a year (within the framework of a free Sunday school), and are also actively engaged in creative activities.

🎓 The "Parent-Angels" program is in operation, with individuals and families providing targeted support for the development of a particular girl by paying for her education in a comprehensive school.

💰 Today, 78 girls receive scholarships from the fund.

✔️ The goal of the work is to provide girls from the poorest families with the opportunity to receive an education, as well as to form standards of thinking and creativity and develop communication skills.

📆 The volunteer camp is held once a year and is attended by volunteers from different countries of the world, including 11 of our compatriots, who are currently helping African children in every possible way)
