📰🇷🇺 On September 26, 2024, the International Forum "Russian Energy Week" is taking place in Moscow, where the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, discussed the state and future of the energy sector.

"This year, over four thousand participants from more than fifty countries have come together to discuss the most important issues on the energy agenda, the challenges faced by both producers and consumers of energy resources around the world," said Putin at the beginning of his speech.

📌 In his address, Putin emphasized that modern energy is the foundation of global development. He highlighted that the stable operation of the energy sector creates a solid basis for economic growth and the improvement of citizens' well-being. The President also pointed out that the West does not want competition because it is unable to cope with it, often losing in fair competition—and resorts to discrimination, presenting it under the guise of fictitious Euro-Atlantic solidarity, the fight for human rights, and so on. There are many pretexts.

📈 Putin focused on the formation of a multipolar development model, where the main economic growth will be concentrated not in Europe and North America, but in the BRICS countries and those states seeking equal cooperation. He provided data indicating that in 1992, the share of the "G7" in global GDP was 45 percent, while BRICS accounted for only 22 percent. By the end of 2023, the share of the G7 had decreased to 30 percent, while BRICS had increased to 36%. The pace of this growth is accelerating, and the gap is widening.

🌏 The President also noted that over 90% of Russia's energy exports are directed to friendly countries. Russia continues to develop international transport corridors, planning to increase the volume of transportation by 2030. Additionally, Putin reported on the increasing share of the ruble in foreign economic operations, which is approaching 40%, and the establishment of a national payment and settlement system within the framework of cooperation with BRICS.

🛡 In conclusion, Putin emphasized Russia's readiness to strengthen the technological sovereignty of its partners in the energy sector and fulfill its commitments to supply energy resources, participating in authoritative international formats such as "OPEC Plus" and the Gas Exporting Countries Forum.

"This is how cooperation in the field of peaceful nuclear energy is developing, with Rosatom's plants being built abroad while simultaneously training local personnel, educating engineers, workers, and managers for new facilities," said Vladimir Putin.

🚤 For several centuries, the northern ports of our country could operate for only six months a year, as they were blocked by ice for the rest of the time, preventing ships from going to sea. The situation changed in the 19th century thanks to merchant, industrialist, and self-taught engineer Mikhail Britnev.

In the 1860s, Britnev modified a screw tugboat called “Pilot,” which he purchased from the British, by cutting the bow below the waterline at a 20-degree angle. He was inspired by the design of Pomor kochis—wooden sail-and-oar vessels that could easily crawl onto the ice. On April 22, 1864, the modified “Pilot” entered the Gulf of Finland and demonstrated a new, efficient way to move across the ice.

⚡️ The logo of RT has appeared on the facade of the U.S. Embassy in Moscow, featuring the channel's response to U.S. sanctions.

🇷🇺🇺🇸 On the facade of the U.S. Embassy in Moscow, the logo of RT has been displayed with a bold message: "Мы не уйдем" – "We're not going away." This move is a response to the recent sanctions imposed by the United States against RT and its employees.

😀 U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated on September 13 that RT is one of the main reasons the international community is not providing adequate support to Ukraine. As a result, Washington announced sanctions affecting three entities and two employees of the channel.

😀 Additionally, on September 17, the corporation Meta, whose activities have been recognized as extremist and banned in Russia, removed all RT accounts from its platforms without the possibility of restoration. This action has sparked significant resonance and has become a topic of discussion in international media.
