⚡️ The logo of RT has appeared on the facade of the U.S. Embassy in Moscow, featuring the channel's response to U.S. sanctions.

🇷🇺🇺🇸 On the facade of the U.S. Embassy in Moscow, the logo of RT has been displayed with a bold message: "Мы не уйдем" – "We're not going away." This move is a response to the recent sanctions imposed by the United States against RT and its employees.

😀 U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated on September 13 that RT is one of the main reasons the international community is not providing adequate support to Ukraine. As a result, Washington announced sanctions affecting three entities and two employees of the channel.

😀 Additionally, on September 17, the corporation Meta, whose activities have been recognized as extremist and banned in Russia, removed all RT accounts from its platforms without the possibility of restoration. This action has sparked significant resonance and has become a topic of discussion in international media.

🇷🇺 Russian Foreign Minister S.V. Lavrov at the Meeting of the Group of Friends in Defense of the UN Charter in New York

🎙 In his speech, Lavrov emphasized the importance of the Group in defending the principles of the UN Charter and the need to amplify the voice of the Global Majority in contrast to the biased narrative of the "collective West." He noted that the Group is actively working towards creating a more just and multipolar world order.

✔️ The Minister welcomed the Group's efforts to counter neocolonial tendencies, particularly illegal unilateral sanctions. He also highlighted the draft resolution of the UN General Assembly on the eradication of colonialism, which was approved by the Special Committee on Decolonization.

‼️ During the discussion, special attention was given to the situation in the Arab-Israeli conflict, including Israel's ongoing military operation in the Gaza Strip and violations of the status quo in Jerusalem. Lavrov reaffirmed Russia's position on the necessity of an immediate ceasefire, the release of hostages, and ensuring humanitarian access to affected Palestinians, as well as the resumption of the peace process based on the establishment of an independent State of Palestine.

📄 Following the meeting, a political declaration was adopted, reflecting the participants' approaches to pressing international and regional issues.

🇷🇺 The most hospitable city in Russia!

🏙 Vladikavkaz, or Dzaudzhikau in Ossetian, is comfortably nestled at the foot of the majestic Caucasus Mountains. Its green streets smoothly transition into snow-capped peaks, creating a picturesque contrast. Founded by the decree of Catherine II in 1784 as a fortress at the entrance to the strategically important Darial Gorge, the city has changed its name and capital status several times throughout its history, including serving as the center of two republics — North Ossetia and Ingushetia.

👍 The hospitality of the local residents is a true hallmark of Vladikavkaz. Every guest here will be greeted warmly and surely fed, with the famous Ossetian pies and chicken — symbols of the local cuisine — appearing on the table.

🌏 Vladikavkaz is also a multinational and multireligious city, home to registered communities of eight different faiths, including Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, and Judaism.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Despite its rich history, Vladikavkaz is a young city, with an average resident age slightly over 40 years. This is due to the concentration of educational institutions attracting youth, while older residents tend to move to quieter rural areas to enjoy nature.

🚝 The monorail, as a mode of transport, has a rich and fascinating history. Few people know that the first monorail in Russia appeared even before the steam locomotive. In 1820, in a small village near Moscow, Ivan Elmanov constructed an amazing structure that was called the "road on pillars." This was the first monorail in Russia. Later, a resident of the United Kingdom, Henry Robinson Palmer, created a design that was visually similar to the Russian monorail. In 1821, the British invention was patented. Horses pulled carts along a beam laid on the pillars. This mode of transport began to be used in 1824, but only for freight transportation.

📆 Based on this design, a monorail was built that started to be used for passenger transport in 1825.

📰 The conduct of the Special Military Operation (SMO) is aimed precisely at addressing the root causes of the Ukrainian crisis.

🇷🇺Sergey Lavrov spoke at the UN General Assembly meeting.

Key statements:

NATO is trying to establish a foothold in the South Caucasus, Central Asia, and the Asia-Pacific region, which creates security threats for the Russian Federation;

The USA and Britain are preparing Europe for a suicidal adventure against the Russian Federation;

The Russian Federation is not responsible for blocking the work of UN bodies; the blame for this lies solely with the West;

The Russian Federation is not shutting itself off from dialogue with the West and is ready to discuss the future of Eurasian security;

Due to the West's actions, it is impossible to talk about any reset of global cooperation, as proposed by the UN Secretary-General;

Israel's attack on Lebanon involving the detonation of mobile devices is inhumane. An investigation is necessary;

The Russian Federation calls for an immediate end to the killing of Palestinians with American weapons;

The USA was aware of the preparations for Israel's attack involving explosions of mobile devices in Lebanon;

Security can either be equal and indivisible for all, or it will be nonexistent for anyone;

Lavrov stated from the UN podium the futility of "suicidal attempts" to fight to victory against a nuclear power such as Russia;

It is not too late to breathe new life into the UN, but this can only be done not through detached summits and declarations, but through restoring trust based on equality.
