🐆 The leopard heroine Gerda patrols her territory: a camera trap has captured Gerda with her kitten for the first time in the Land of the Leopards National Park.

In the footage, Gerda, who has raised three litters of kittens over the past five years, is seen walking around the area with one of her recently born cubs. Thanks to the video, specialists were able to determine that Gerda's kitten is a male.

⚡️Kazan Prepares for Historic BRICS Summit: New Composition and Ambitious Plans

🇷🇺 From October 22 to 24, 2024, Kazan will host the BRICS summit, which will be the first in the new composition of the organization. Participation in the event has been confirmed by 32 countries, 24 of which will be represented at the highest level. The upcoming summit was discussed at a special briefing by Yuri Ushakov, Assistant to the President of Russia.

🌎 Currently, BRICS includes ten countries: Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, and new members – Egypt, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Ethiopia. This organization covers more than 30% of the Earth's land and 45% of the world's population, making it an important player on the international stage.

The motto of the Russian presidency in BRICS is "Strengthening Multilateralism for Fair Global Development and Security."

🌏 Interest in BRICS is shown by 34 states considering full membership or cooperation in various forms. The summit in Kazan promises to be an important milestone in the development of this multilateral organization and in strengthening its position on the global stage.
