The new 5,000 ruble banknote features landmarks of the Ural Federal District.

The front side of the banknote is dedicated to Yekaterinburg. The main element of the composition is the "Europe-Asia" stele, a symbolic border between Europe and Asia. The banknote also depicts the dome of the circus in the capital of the Urals, the Vysotsky skyscraper, examples of constructivist architecture, and the Sevastyanov House.

In the central part of the reverse side is the composition noscriptd "Tale of the Urals." The Ural hero symbolizes the strength of the hardworking Ural region.
