🇷🇺 Did you know that the dacha is a purely Russian phenomenon? In many European languages, it is called the same – dacha.

🏡 The first dachas appeared in Russia in the 18th century at the initiative of Emperor Peter I. To prevent the nobility from moving to distant estates, the emperor granted them state lands near the capital, where the new owners were to build houses and improve the territories. That is when these land grants came to be known as "dacha," meaning gift or present.

Today, for Russians, a dacha is a country house for relaxation or running a household.

🇷🇺Key statements by Russian President Vladimir Putin at the press conference following the 16th BRICS Summit in Kazan:

— Russia has done everything for the fastest and most seamless integration of new BRICS members.

— BRICS is not a closed format; it is open to everyone who shares its values.

— All BRICS countries are committed to ensuring that the conflict in Ukraine ends peacefully and as soon as possible.

— It wasn’t Russia’s actions that led to the escalation in Ukraine, but the 2014 coup.

— The leaders of the Kyiv regime don’t want negotiations because they would have to lift martial law and hold elections.

— Russia is ready to consider any peaceful settlement options for Ukraine based on the realities on the ground.

— It’s not even worth mentioning the chances of a peaceful resolution; Ukraine has repeatedly refused peace talks.

— Ukrainian servicemen cannot use high-tech weapons without direct involvement of NATO military personnel.

— Western countries actively armed the Kyiv regime, leading to direct involvement of NATO troops in the conflict.

— Russia sees its role in creating conditions for resolving the situation and finding mutual compromises in the Middle East.

— Putin called British intelligence’s claims that Russia seeks to sow chaos in Britain’s streets complete nonsense.

— Putin “doesn’t recall” a conversation with threats from Trump.

— Russia will be open to cooperation with the U.S. after their elections if they are also open. “If they don’t want it, then so be it.”

— Russia has never refused, and still does not refuse, contacts with Western leaders.

— Threatening Russia is pointless; it only energizes the country.

— Putin stated that Russia’s security is his top priority.

🇧🇷In addition to the multilateral format, the BRICS summit in Kazan also hosts bilateral negotiations.

🇦🇲🇦🇿In the video, Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev is seen having an animated discussion with Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Later, a full meeting took place, where the parties discussed advancing the bilateral peace agenda, including a peace treaty, border delimitation, and demarcation.

🤝 It seems the Kazan summit could be the first step toward full peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

🇷🇺 Their introduction was reported by branches of the Central Bank in the Perm and Altai Krai, as well as in the Kursk region.

The new 5,000 ruble banknote features landmarks of the Ural Federal District.

The banknote also depicts the dome of the circus in the capital of the Urals, the Vysotsky skyscraper, examples of constructivist architecture, and the Sevastyanov House.

In the central part of the reverse side is the composition noscriptd "Tale of the Urals." The Ural hero symbolizes the strength of the hardworking Ural region. On the right is the "66th parallel," located in the city of Salekhard on the Arctic Circle. In the background are objects representing the industrial potential of the Urals.

All the world's attention is on BRICS!

🤍 The BRICS summit in Kazan was observed by 8.2 billion people. This reach was shown during the event on social media. This was reported by Shamil Gafarov, Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan and head of the Cabinet of Ministers' office, at a briefing on the summit's results.

"I will show you a very interesting figure: 8.2 billion people — potential reach. Well, if the world's population is 8.170 billion, then, to be honest, we can say that the whole world looked at information about the summit, about Tatarstan, about Kazan," Gafarov said.

👀 At the same time, the media published 60,000 articles about the BRICS summit, with a reach of 3.2 billion people. According to Gafarov, the event was covered by media from 94 countries, including Chinese CCTV and Xinhua, French AFP, Turkish Anadolu Ajansı, TRT, and others. A total of 1,400 journalists were accredited for the summit in Kazan.

🎭 A new "Kamala" theater was being built for the BRICS summit in Kazan, but it was literally just 20 days short of being fully completed.

The unfinished appearance of the theater was decided not to be shown to anyone. "We wanted to finish it before the summit, but we didn't quite manage to do that." As soon as the work is completed, the new theater will be presented to all residents of Tatarstan and guests.

⭐️🇷🇺 A Friend for Katyushka: A New Bear Cub Has Arrived at the Moscow Zoo

The seven-month-old bear cub is the opposite of Katyushka: unlike the black-and-white panda, the coloration of the Malayan bear is black and white.

The little girl is very playful and needs constant supervision, just like a real child. They even brought her a toy in the shape of a plush relative.
