🐻 Good news from the Kamchatka region: An orphaned bear cub, which spent several hours on the highway after its mother’s death, was found in the Yelizovsky district.

"The bear cub has been captured and will be transferred to the 'Pinachevsky Kordon' for about a month. During this time, the question of transferring the predator to animal protection organizations will be resolved. Currently, there is no threat to its life," the regional Ministry of Forestry reported.

The last two U.S. presidents, Donald Trump and Joseph Biden, have also been to Russia, but not as part of an official presidential visit. Trump visited Moscow in the late 20th century as a businessman, while Joe Biden went relatively recently, in 2011, as Vice President of the United States.

🇷🇺 Vladimir Putin gave the command to launch the nuclear icebreaker "Chukotka" from the Kremlin.

🚢 The new icebreaker is being built at the Baltic Shipyard and is the fifth nuclear vessel of project 22220. It is capable of breaking through ice up to three meters thick.

Nuclear icebreakers of project 22220 are the largest and most powerful in the world, and their task is to ensure year-round navigation in the Arctic. Additionally, two more icebreakers of the same series, "Leningrad" and "Stalingrad," are being built at this shipyard.

📜 Year of Yesenin in Russia

🇷🇺 Yesterday, Russian President Vladimir Putin approved the initiative to declare 2025 the Year of Sergey Yesenin in Russia.

The proposal was made during a meeting of the Council for the Support of the Russian Language and other languages of the peoples of the Russian Federation on November 5. It was presented by actor Sergey Bezrukov.

Let us remind you that in 2025, we will celebrate the 130th anniversary of the birth and the 100th anniversary of the death of the great Russian poet. Preparations for the anniversary have already begun at the museum-reserve in the village of Konstantinovo, Ryazan Region.

🇷🇺 The Russian round-the-world expedition "Russian Ocean Way" has concluded in Kronstadt.

🚤 On November 6, the crew, led by Yevgeny Kovalevsky and Stanislav Berezkin, reached the final destination of their journey — they docked in the island city of Kronstadt. It was here, three and a half years ago, that the round-the-world voyage "On the Path of Russian Circumnavigators" began.

🌏 During this time, the team covered more than 35,000 nautical miles, held over 300 meetings, and visited 32 countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Germany, Denmark, Cape Verde, Morocco, the Netherlands, Portugal, Uruguay, Finland, France, Chile, Sweden, Spain, and others.

🤝 The crew of the trimaran faced shipwrecks, shark attacks, crossed zones of military conflict, and endured many other challenges. In each new port, Yevgeny Kovalevsky and Stanislav Berezkin organized meetings with local residents, shared stories about Russia and Siberia, and worked to break down stereotypes about our country.
