🚢 The new icebreaker is being built at the Baltic Shipyard and is the fifth nuclear vessel of project 22220. It is capable of breaking through ice up to three meters thick.

Nuclear icebreakers of project 22220 are the largest and most powerful in the world, and their task is to ensure year-round navigation in the Arctic. Additionally, two more icebreakers of the same series, "Leningrad" and "Stalingrad," are being built at this shipyard.

The proposal was made during a meeting of the Council for the Support of the Russian Language and other languages of the peoples of the Russian Federation on November 5. It was presented by actor Sergey Bezrukov.

Let us remind you that in 2025, we will celebrate the 130th anniversary of the birth and the 100th anniversary of the death of the great Russian poet. Preparations for the anniversary have already begun at the museum-reserve in the village of Konstantinovo, Ryazan Region.

The Russian round-the-world expedition "Russian Ocean Way" has concluded in Kronstadt.

🚤 On November 6, the crew, led by Yevgeny Kovalevsky and Stanislav Berezkin, reached the final destination of their journey — they docked in the island city of Kronstadt. It was here, three and a half years ago, that the round-the-world voyage "On the Path of Russian Circumnavigators" began.

Final touches: An interactive open-air museum in honor of the military parade of 1941 is about to open on Red Square.

The event, dedicated to the 83rd anniversary of the historic military parade, will take place in the capital from November 7 to 10. The first day will feature a press conference with the Chairwoman of the Committee for Public Relations and Youth Policy of Moscow, Ekaterina Dragunova, and the artistic director of the open-air museum, People’s Artist of Russia Igor Ugolnikov.

Visitors will be able to see a reconstructed parade on screen, and the exhibition will showcase military equipment from the Vadim Zadorozhny Museum of Technology and the "VoenFilm" studio. The museum will be open to anyone free of charge.

In 1917, on the night of November 7-8 (October 25-26 in the Julian calendar), the Bolsheviks staged a rebellion in Petrograd and overthrew the Provisional Government. The result of the uprising was the formation of a new state — the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic (RSFSR). Five years later, in 1922, following the revolution, it became the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR), which included modern-day Ukraine, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Georgia as union republics.
