🚀 Roscosmos Eyes Africa

🌍 This Friday, Roscosmos General Director Yuri Borisov announced that Russia has proposed to several friendly countries, including those in Africa, to build spaceports on their territories.

“Today, among our main partners, we can probably name countries like India, China, and Iran. We have big plans with South Africa, a number of African countries, Algeria, Zimbabwe, Indonesia, and Malaysia,” Borisov said.

Borisov clarified that Roscosmos's proposals are particularly relevant for countries close to the equator, where launching payloads into orbit is cheaper than at other latitudes.

🛰️ In addition to its traditional services, such as the production of individual satellites and space launches from Russian territory, Roscosmos has also included the creation of ground infrastructure for launching carrier rockets from friendly countries in this list.

According to the general director of the state corporation, before the imposition of sanctions against Russia, about 70% of Roscosmos's exports were directed to unfriendly countries.

🇷🇺💉 Russian President Vladimir Putin is confident that the introduction of the Russian cancer vaccine will be a breakthrough.

The head of state held a meeting with the head of the Federal Medical Biological Agency (FMBA) of Russia, Veronika Skvortsova. Skvortsova reported on the work being done on the drug. According to her, the FMBA's oncovaccine may be ready for use in about a year.

"As a result of the experiment with the most aggressive intestinal adenocarcinoma in animals, we found not only a sharp slowdown in tumor development after the vaccine was administered, but also, in cases where the tumor was already present, a reduction in its size by 75-80%. And the survival of the animal, meaning that the animals do not die from this tumor; they continue to live."

Squirrel cafes have opened in Gorky Park 👀 🐿️

🌰 Thanks to the design of the feeders, the nuts are poured into a box and do not get damp, while the narrow opening at the bottom makes it difficult for pigeons and crows to access them.

✍️ A special menu has also been developed and designed: balanced dishes for squirrels should consist of raw nuts, unpeeled seeds, and unsweetened dried fruits.

The cafes operate on a self-service basis: squirrels enjoy foraging for nuts one by one.
