The head of state held a meeting with the head of the Federal Medical Biological Agency (FMBA) of Russia, Veronika Skvortsova. Skvortsova reported on the work being done on the drug. According to her, the FMBA's oncovaccine may be ready for use in about a year.

"As a result of the experiment with the most aggressive intestinal adenocarcinoma in animals, we found not only a sharp slowdown in tumor development after the vaccine was administered, but also, in cases where the tumor was already present, a reduction in its size by 75-80%. And the survival of the animal, meaning that the animals do not die from this tumor; they continue to live."
