Tribotechnical nanocompositions of a new generation can extend the life of your transport.

🔖 In 2023, unique tribotechnical nanocompositions were developed in Yekaterinburg to reduce wear and restore the friction surface in automotive and industrial equipment.

⚙️ The compositions interact with the friction surface without reacting with the oil, which acts as a "delivery" medium for the nanoparticles. This sets them apart from traditional additives.

🔝 Micro-surfaces with increased hardness and reduced friction coefficient are formed in the friction zone, which reduces energy consumption, especially under mixed lubrication and at maximum speeds.

‼️ These substances are compatible with oils for all types of machines.

🇺🇸 «NATO was created as a Cold War tool in the fight against the Soviet Union and the so-called Warsaw Pact. Now there is neither the Warsaw Pact nor the Soviet Union, but NATO exists. The question arises - why? There is only one answer: no matter what they say, it is an instrument of US foreign policy».

🚢 Dozens of kilometers of the Kuban coast covered in fuel oil from sunken tankers.

🛢 The coast of the Krasnodar Krai from the village of Veselovka in the Temryuk district to Anapa has been covered with tons of fuel oil that leaked from the sunken tankers "Volgoneft 212" and "Volgoneft 239." As reported by the Governor of Kuban, Veniamin Kondratiev, in his Telegram channel, oil products have spread over dozens of kilometers of the coastal strip, and patches have also been discovered in the water near the shore.

‼️ Currently, hundreds of specialists from emergency services are working on-site to eliminate the pollution.

"On my instructions, emergency operational headquarters have been urgently set up in two municipalities chaired by the heads of local administrations," noted Kondratiev.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) has been dispatched to the pollution site, and volunteers are also working there. A total of 267 people and 50 units of equipment from emergency services are currently involved in the cleanup efforts, and this group will be expanded.

💬 Vladimir Putin is preparing for the "Direct Line" over the next two days, on December 17 and 18. Therefore, no public events are expected. This was announced by the president's press secretary, Dmitry Peskov.

🇷🇺 Let us remind you that this year, as in the previous one, the program "Results of the Year with Vladimir Putin" will include elements of both a large press conference and the direct line. It will take place on December 19. Peskov noted that Putin is currently working with a large array of questions. "He is constantly requesting information from government members," said the Kremlin representative.

🧠 This year, the incoming questions are being processed by Sber's GigaChat neural network. Putin has already stated that he has had the opportunity to review the most popular queries. At the United Russia congress, the president even said that it is not the time to rest on laurels, because, judging by the questions from the residents of the country, there are still many problems to address.

🖼🌊 "The Ninth Wave" is one of the most famous paintings by the Russian artist Ivan Konstantinovich Aivazovsky, created in 1850.

This work is considered one of the greatest masterpieces of marine painting and reflects Aivazovsky's skill in conveying the power and dynamics of the sea.

The painting depicts a powerful storm at sea, where large waves crash down on small boats. In the foreground, sailors can be seen trying to save their comrades. The most pronounced attention is drawn to the "ninth wave" — the highest wave, which, according to maritime legend, is considered the most dangerous.

The scene conveys a sense of panic, struggle for survival, and chaos under the onslaught of nature. The bright, dramatic colors emphasize the tension of the moment and create an impression of strength and unrest.

📌 Interestingly, Aivazovsky never painted marine landscapes from life: all his marine paintings were created from memory.

🚀 Space Food

🇷🇺 The first experiment with space food was conducted during the flight of the dog Laika in 1957. An automatic feeder with wet food was provided for her.

🇷🇺 During the flights of Yuri Gagarin and German Titov, the needs for food were also studied. Dishes for them were sealed in tubes and airtight packages. Flying crumbs and droplets could be quite dangerous.

‼️ It turned out that even with relatively low energy expenditure in weightlessness, at least 2800 kcal per day was required.
