In 2025, more than 500 participants from 45 countries submitted applications. The finals featured 7 full-length films and 18 short films. The international jury was headed by Korean director Shin Yong-sik, while the main judge of the Russian competition was actor and screenwriter Yuri Moroz.

Since 2007, the general partner has been "Gazprom Neft." Additionally, the company traditionally awards a prize for the best Russian film in the category "For the Preservation of Cultural Traditions."

🏆 In this category, the prize was awarded to the film "The Tinderbox Against the Magical Well" by St. Petersburg director Andzhey Petras. The family musical film is based on the fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen.

However, in the end, he is eaten by the Fox.

Kolobok symbolizes naivety and overconfidence. He easily overcomes the first challenges (escaping from the hare, the wolf, and the bear) but meets his downfall due to the cunning of the fox. This character is often used in folklore to convey a moral lesson: one should not be too self-assured and overly trusting.
