Russian President Announces Easter Ceasefire

During a meeting at the Kremlin, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief heard a report from Valery Gerasimov, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, on the situation along the line of combat contact. "Guided by humanitarian considerations, today from 18:00 until midnight Sunday to Monday, the Russian side declares an Easter ceasefire. I order all combat actions to be halted during this period. We expect the Ukrainian side to follow our example. At the same time, our troops must remain ready to repel any potential ceasefire violations, provocations, or aggressive actions by the enemy," Vladimir Putin stated.

Yesterday, April 18, the "Japanese Garden" exhibition opened to visitors at the Tsitsin Botanical Garden.
