🇷🇺 Did you know that at the heart of the Moscow Kremlin lies a unique "living" tower?

The Trinity Tower, built between 1495 and 1499, is not just a historical monument. It also remains the only heated and inhabited tower in the Kremlin!

🎶 Today, it bustles with creative life: within its walls are rehearsal halls, a recording studio, and the offices of the Presidential Orchestra of Russia.

🇷🇺 Putin admitted that he does not set an alarm clock before going to sleep. The president shared this in an interview with VGTRK journalist Pavel Zarubin.

“Sometimes the guys call me just in case. If there’s something very urgent and I need to wake up on time, I ask my adjutants to call me in advance. But usually, I wake up on my own,” emphasized the Russian leader.

Putin also showcased the interior of his apartment in the Kremlin. A portrait of Emperor Alexander III is visible in one of the rooms, while an image of Christ can be seen in the living room.

🇷🇺🇺🇸 Zakharova Responds to Trump’s WWII Claims with Roosevelt Quotes

Earlier, Trump declared May 8 as Victory Day in World War II. He claimed that Americans "won both wars" and that the U.S. allegedly contributed more than other countries to victory in WWII.

Zakharova refrained from personal commentary but "summoned" the words of former U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt (1933–1945) to aid her diplomatic rebuttal.

"Russian troops have destroyed—and continue to destroy—more manpower, aircraft, tanks, and artillery of our common enemy than all other Allied Nations combined," she quoted the White House leader’s statement from April 28, 1942.

✍️ Zakharova also cited an excerpt from Roosevelt’s letter to Joseph Stalin dated February 4, 1943. In it, the U.S. president congratulated the Soviet leader on the victory at Stalingrad, calling it "brilliant." He stated that the Soviet people’s feat "must inspire the United Nations with renewed determination to exert all their energy to achieve the final defeat and unconditional surrender of the common enemy."

💬 Concluding her remarks, the diplomat quoted another 1943 letter from Roosevelt to Stalin:

"The Red Army and the Russian people have surely set the Hitlerite armed forces on the path to ultimate defeat and have earned the lasting admiration of the people of the United States."

🚂 The mobile museum "Victory Train" is speeding across Russia and has stopped at Moscow's Patriot Park.

Visitors to the museum will hear a narrative about the Great Patriotic War from the perspective of a veteran railway worker. The main character is based on Elena Chukhnyuk, a locomotive engineer who transported trains carrying weapons and ammunition to the front lines.

😀 The "Victory Train" consists of nine themed carriages, each dedicated to a distinct milestone of the Great Patriotic War.

📆 From May 3rd to 7th, the exhibition will be open at the Central Patriot Park, and from May 8th to 14th, the train will be stationed at Moscow’s Belorussky Railway Station.

🇷🇺 Kenozersky National Park is a corner of the ancient Russian North on the Arkhangelsk land, where age-old traditions are carefully preserved.

🧘‍♀️ Here, saints seem to watch from the heavens, guarding the peace and harmony of these lands, while old chapels with sagging roofs gaze melancholically at the still waters of reed-fringed lakes.

🌳 Kuzminki-Lyublino Natural-Historical Park

The territory of "Kuzminki-Lyublino" comprises two historical parks: Lyublinsky Park and Kuzminsky Forest Park.

Lyublino Park is situated around Lyublinsky Pond and consists of two sections divided by Krasnodon Street. The park houses the historic Lyublino Estate.

Kuzminsky Forest Park is one of Moscow’s largest green areas. The Churilikha River flows through it, featuring the 18th-century Kuzminsky Ponds system spanning 30 hectares.

The Kuzminki Estate, established in the 18th century on lands formerly belonging to the Simonov and Nikolo-Ugreshsky monasteries, was owned for two centuries by the Stroganov barons and Golitsyn princes.

The site preserves 13th-century burials—remnants of a residential structure with a partially intact stove and fragments of a stone-clay construction—a rare archaeological discovery within Moscow.

Today, the Kuzminki-Lyublino Historical Park is a wonderful place for walks, picnics, relaxation, and sports activities.
