🏞 Leningrad Maldives - Lake Dontso

Hidden deep within the Leningrad region, on the border of the Volosovsky and Gatchinsky districts, Lake Dontso earned the nickname "Leningrad Maldives" thanks to its vibrant turquoise water color and picturesque shores.

🌊 The lake formed on the site of the old Kyurlevsky quarry, where gaize – a special limestone rock – was once mined. Over time, the quarry filled with spring water, creating a unique natural landscape.

🛡 Since 1996, this area has been recognized as a regionally significant natural monument.

⚡️ "WHO EVEN NEGOTIATES WITH TERRORISTS AT ALL?!" – Putin responds to Kyiv's call for high-level talks

Vladimir Vladimirovich also expressed doubts about the possibility of holding a summit with Ukraine and organizing a ceasefire amid terrorist attacks.

Other statements by the President:

— The sabotage of railway tracks in the Bryansk and Kursk regions is an act of terrorism, the decision for which was made at the political level;

— The Kyiv regime "doesn't need peace at all," as it would mean the loss of power for them;

— The terrorist acts committed by Kyiv were aimed at disrupting the negotiations in Istanbul;

— Kyiv's sponsors are accomplices to terrorism;

— Ukraine is suffering significant losses and retreating along the entire front line, which is why it is resorting to terrorist acts to intimidate the Russian Federation;

— We are dealing with people who lack any competence and political culture, given that they allow the use of profanities.

📌 The President of Russia also stated that Zelenskyy has no authority whatsoever, as he heads a "rotten and corrupt regime".

🗼 A lighthouse without water — Russia has that too!

The Four Hillock Lighthouse (Chetyryokhbugorny Mayak) is located in the village of Vyshka, Astrakhan Oblast.

🌊 It’s unique because it stands far from water — now a full 30 km from the Caspian Sea.

Back in the 18th century, water lapped here, but the level of the Caspian Sea has been gradually dropping.

📉 It’s now 27 meters below global sea level and continues to drop by 7 cm per year.

By the way, the lighthouse is open to visitors and is unguarded 😉
