A resident of Vladivostok, Anastasia Belik, has won the international beauty contest "Mrs. Europe - 2025".

📍 The competition was held in Sofia, Bulgaria, from September 10 to 14. It featured participants from the European continent between the ages of 22 and 43.

Due to political circumstances, Anastasia performed with a "Far East" sash and became the first woman from the Russian Far East to win an international beauty contest of this level.

"Even though I am in Sofia alone, without a support group, and for political reasons could not perform with a 'Russia' sash, I felt the support of my country and pride for my country. That is what gave me the strength to win," Belik shared.

Anastasia is 31 years old, works as a makeup artist, is raising an eight-year-old son with her husband, and is engaged in charity work.

Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin commented on the construction of the high-speed railway (HSR) at a strategic session on the development of high-speed transport communication:

"New generation rolling stock will operate on it, which will set the highest benchmark in the country for travel speed. This is approximately 400 kilometers per hour. The entire journey will take about two hours and 15 minutes," he said.

Mishustin emphasized that this is roughly twice the maximum capabilities of the best current electric trains, such as the Sapsan, Lastochka, and Finist. However, the head of the government noted that the trains he listed, which are already in operation, will also remain in service.

"Certainly, we will continue to develop transportation on them as well; they are popular with passengers. Hundreds of such trains operate in suburban and long-distance routes, and their numbers will be progressively increased," Mishustin noted.

The head of the government stated that the routes would be harmoniously integrated into the country's existing transport framework and would open up new opportunities for more than 100 million people.

The implementation of the HSR projects, Mishustin noted, will have a significant impact on the economy, the social sphere, and the unlocking of the country's tourism potential.
