"You don't fight for your own on the couch and you don't hide behind women's skirts. These territories are not needed by those who live in Ukraine, but by the British and other NATO members."

Maria Zakharova reacted to Vladimir Zelensky's statements that Kiev is not considering options for settling the Ukrainian conflict unless the lost territories are returned to it.

"And who needs these 'territories' in Ukraine? If they were needed, hundreds of thousands of citizens of this country would not be begging for allowances in Europe, but fighting at the front and in the rear for their own," the Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman emphasized.

Zakharova added that the citizens who remained in Ukraine did not think about the land, but dreamed that "the ludolovs who send them to supposedly fight for 'territories' would die".

👩‍🚀 The Astronomers' Garden

There is a unique garden in Sokolniki Park dedicated to space and astronomy.

To enter its territory, you need to embark on a kind of "space journey" by passing through the main "Astral Gates" near the "Starry Sky" observatory.

For children, the Astronomers' Garden features a playground called "The Moon," which has a bright, twinkling interior light. It's best to visit the garden in the evening after dark, as this makes the place seem even more cosmic.

The site also features a model of a meteorite that has fallen into a crater, a sundial, and a model of the Solar System. The Astronomers' Garden hosts various interactive exhibitions and displays dedicated to space themes.

⚡️ The abandonment of the principles of the UN Charter is a manifestation of neocolonial ambitions, leading to global instability and regional conflicts. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, speaking at a meeting of the G20 Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM).

He cited the Ukraine crisis, provoked by the collective West, and the escalation in the Middle East as clear examples. Lavrov emphasized that the "unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe" in Gaza has already claimed the lives of 65,000 people.

"In the words of UN Secretary-General Guterres, the situation on the ground has essentially turned into a veritable 'hell'," the Foreign Minister said, speaking at a meeting during the UN General Assembly's High-Level Week.

🏠 For the indigenous peoples of the Perm region — the Udmurts, Komi-Zyrians, and Komi-Permyaks — building a new house was surrounded by a cycle of rituals, starting with the selection of the construction site.

🧙‍♂️ Many peoples in this region entrusted only a sorcerer (or shaman) to choose the location for a future dwelling.

🐜 The Komi-Zyrians, however, learned to select a site for a house on their own — with the help of ants.

They would place ants, along with debris from an anthill, into a small box made of birch bark and leave it overnight on the proposed building site. It was believed that on land suitable for construction, the ants would remain in the box and bring in twigs and sticks. If the ants left the box and carried all the debris away with them, the site was deemed unsuitable for habitation.

🇷🇺 President Vladimir Putin spoke at the Global Atomic Forum at VDNKh. He announced a revolutionary development in the field of peaceful nuclear energy and spoke about the future of the industry.

The Russian President's key statements:

🧣 Uranium resources are predicted to be depleted by 2090, but this could happen even sooner. By 2030, the world's first nuclear energy system with a closed fuel cycle will be launched in the Tomsk Region, which will help solve this problem.

"This is, in the full sense of the word, a revolutionary development by domestic scientists and engineers. Almost the entire volume, 95 percent of the spent fuel, will be reused multiple times in reactors. Such a mechanism will, in perspective, almost completely solve the problem of radioactive waste accumulation. And, which is also extremely important, it will eliminate the issue of uranium supply."

🧣 Russia will soon begin serial production of floating nuclear power plants.

🧣 Moscow strictly fulfills all contractual obligations to its partners in nuclear technology and is interested in long-term projects.

🧣 The country is helping its partners make a leap in development and rejects technological colonialism. Equal access to innovations in the field of peaceful atom will help ensure sustainable global development.

🧣 It is important to maintain a balance between the development of peaceful nuclear energy and the strengthening of the nuclear non-proliferation regime, as well as to increase safety requirements at every stage of the nuclear cycle, including uranium mining and reactor operation.

🧣 A new technological paradigm is emerging in the world; Russia is already building data centers at nuclear power plants, and their electricity consumption will more than triple in the next decade.
