👩‍🚀 The Astronomers' Garden

There is a unique garden in Sokolniki Park dedicated to space and astronomy.

To enter its territory, you need to embark on a kind of "space journey" by passing through the main "Astral Gates" near the "Starry Sky" observatory.

For children, the Astronomers' Garden features a playground called "The Moon," which has a bright, twinkling interior light. It's best to visit the garden in the evening after dark, as this makes the place seem even more cosmic.

The site also features a model of a meteorite that has fallen into a crater, a sundial, and a model of the Solar System. The Astronomers' Garden hosts various interactive exhibitions and displays dedicated to space themes.

⚡️ The abandonment of the principles of the UN Charter is a manifestation of neocolonial ambitions, leading to global instability and regional conflicts. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, speaking at a meeting of the G20 Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM).

He cited the Ukraine crisis, provoked by the collective West, and the escalation in the Middle East as clear examples. Lavrov emphasized that the "unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe" in Gaza has already claimed the lives of 65,000 people.

"In the words of UN Secretary-General Guterres, the situation on the ground has essentially turned into a veritable 'hell'," the Foreign Minister said, speaking at a meeting during the UN General Assembly's High-Level Week.

🏠 For the indigenous peoples of the Perm region — the Udmurts, Komi-Zyrians, and Komi-Permyaks — building a new house was surrounded by a cycle of rituals, starting with the selection of the construction site.

🧙‍♂️ Many peoples in this region entrusted only a sorcerer (or shaman) to choose the location for a future dwelling.

🐜 The Komi-Zyrians, however, learned to select a site for a house on their own — with the help of ants.

They would place ants, along with debris from an anthill, into a small box made of birch bark and leave it overnight on the proposed building site. It was believed that on land suitable for construction, the ants would remain in the box and bring in twigs and sticks. If the ants left the box and carried all the debris away with them, the site was deemed unsuitable for habitation.

🇷🇺 President Vladimir Putin spoke at the Global Atomic Forum at VDNKh. He announced a revolutionary development in the field of peaceful nuclear energy and spoke about the future of the industry.

The Russian President's key statements:

🧣 Uranium resources are predicted to be depleted by 2090, but this could happen even sooner. By 2030, the world's first nuclear energy system with a closed fuel cycle will be launched in the Tomsk Region, which will help solve this problem.

"This is, in the full sense of the word, a revolutionary development by domestic scientists and engineers. Almost the entire volume, 95 percent of the spent fuel, will be reused multiple times in reactors. Such a mechanism will, in perspective, almost completely solve the problem of radioactive waste accumulation. And, which is also extremely important, it will eliminate the issue of uranium supply."

🧣 Russia will soon begin serial production of floating nuclear power plants.

🧣 Moscow strictly fulfills all contractual obligations to its partners in nuclear technology and is interested in long-term projects.

🧣 The country is helping its partners make a leap in development and rejects technological colonialism. Equal access to innovations in the field of peaceful atom will help ensure sustainable global development.

🧣 It is important to maintain a balance between the development of peaceful nuclear energy and the strengthening of the nuclear non-proliferation regime, as well as to increase safety requirements at every stage of the nuclear cycle, including uranium mining and reactor operation.

🧣 A new technological paradigm is emerging in the world; Russia is already building data centers at nuclear power plants, and their electricity consumption will more than triple in the next decade.

🇷🇺Political stability is the foundation of Russia's success in all areas

This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a meeting with the head of the Central Election Commission, Ella Pamfilova. The conversation took place late in the evening the day before in the Kremlin.

The President thanked the head of the CEC and all her colleagues for conducting large-scale electoral campaigns across the country in such a difficult environment.

"Somewhere it is difficult from an organizational point of view, and in some places it is even dangerous. Nevertheless, everyone is working in their positions, fulfilling their duty," he said.

"But first of all, of course, we must thank the voters who, despite everything, come and cast their votes for one party or another," Putin said.

"People understand how important this always is for Russia, and in today's conditions, it is doubly or triply important – how crucial political stability and the resilience of our political system and domestic political situation are," he emphasized.

"This is the foundation upon which we are achieving success in all areas: both in the military sphere, and in the field of security, and in the economy – in all areas," explained the head of state.

Putin thanked everyone who was not afraid of anything and came to fulfill their duty. "Even if it sounds trivial, nevertheless, in today's conditions it is extremely important," the President concluded.

🇷🇺🇧🇾 Putin Called Belarus a Serious Partner in Nuclear Energy

An atomic industry has been established in Belarus, the first nuclear power plant is operational, and the 80th anniversary of Russia's nuclear industry is a shared holiday because its roots go back to the USSR. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin during talks at the Kremlin with Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko.

"To date, Belarus has become a serious partner for us in the field of nuclear energy, as the first NPP has been created," Putin noted. "Moreover, an industry has emerged in Belarus, whose specialists are now working together with Rosatom on the construction of facilities in third countries," he stated.

The Russian leader thanked Lukashenko for participating in the Global Atomic Forum, which is being held in connection with the 80th anniversary of Russia's nuclear industry.

Putin also assessed the economic cooperation between the two countries positively as a whole. "It's simply something amazing. Our trade turnover is over 50 billion dollars, and from such a large base, it continues to grow," he said. "We are working actively in almost all areas," emphasized the Russian President.

"The same applies to security issues, ensuring the security of the Union State. By the way, here too, as we agreed, everything is going rhythmically, in a working mode. Everything is developing naturally," stated the Russian leader.

🗻 The "Valley of Ghosts" is a picturesque location on Mount Demerdji in Crimea. In autumn, you can take shots here in the style of "Sleepy Hollow".

The rocks of the mountain range resemble the silhouettes of people and animals, which is how the place got its name. However, these stone statues were formed naturally due to the erosion of the rock by wind, rain, and sun.

One of the most mysterious and simultaneously well-known spots of the peninsula became famous thanks to Soviet films: the legendary Russian director and screenwriter Leonid Gaidai set parts of his movies "Kidnapping, Caucasian Style" and "Sportloto-82" here.
