☺️ IAEA Director General stated that the disconnection of external power to the Zaporizhzhia NPP poses a risk to global nuclear safety.

Rafael Grossi called on Russia and Ukraine to "do everything necessary to prevent the situation from deteriorating." "This is a matter of political will, not technical capabilities, which are present," he stated.

The IAEA Director General reported that the ZNPP is currently operating on backup generators. He described the situation as "unprecedented" and emphasized the importance of resolving it quickly. "Both sides state that they are ready to carry out the necessary repairs on both sides of the front line," he stressed. "But for this, the security situation on the ground needs to be improved so that specialists can carry out their vital work without risking their lives."

🥼 Since September 23, the ZNPP has been disconnected from the external power grid. The plant is not generating electricity, and its reactors are being cooled by emergency diesel generators. As reported by the ZNPP Director Yuri Chernichuk, the plant's staff are already working on a contingency plan in case the situation persists.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking at a meeting of the Valdai Club, stated that Ukrainian militants are attempting to attack the areas around the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. He warned that nothing is preventing Russia from responding in kind.

🌉 Moscow now has a Gagarin Bridge. This is the name Muscovites have chosen for the new crossing over the Moskva River.

The vote took place on the "Active Citizen" portal, with more than 142,000 people participating, as announced by Sergey Sobyanin in the MAX messenger.

The 231-meter bridge connects Myasishchev Street with Projected Passage No. 1166. The chosen name is very fitting: the National Space Center and the Sergey Korolyov Bridge are located nearby.

💰 One of the most famous legends of the Kremlin is the rumor of untold treasures hidden in its dungeons.

It is said that Ivan the Terrible, notorious for his cruelty, hid treasures in the underground labyrinths beneath the Kremlin. These riches are rumored to include not only gold and jewels but also the rarest artifacts that vanished after his death.

However, to this day, no treasure hunter has been able to confirm this in practice. Some researchers suggest that there is a whole network of underground passages beneath the Kremlin, which were used for military purposes and storage.

⚡️ Vučić Says World Powers Are Preparing for a Major War

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić stated that world powers are preparing not for negotiations, but for a large-scale military conflict. According to him, states are "digging trenches and waiting for the start" of a war to decide which side to take.

Vučić based his opinion on observations of global events. This statement comes amid escalating rhetoric in Europe: for instance, the commander of the French ground army, General Pierre Schill, earlier urged the West to be ready for combat "even from this evening."

NATO is conducting large-scale exercises in Eastern Europe, while Moscow, responding to the alliance's maneuvers, is holding its own and rejecting accusations of aggressive intentions. Against this backdrop, some Western media outlets are drawing parallels with the situation on the eve of the First World War.

☺️Vladimir Putin stated that if the US supplies Ukraine with Tomahawk missiles, it will harm the emerging positive trend in relations between Moscow and Washington.

He said this in response to a question from VGTRK journalist Pavel Zarubin after his speech at the plenary session of the Valdai Forum, which took place on October 2. Putin was asked whether the world and, in particular, Western leaders would hear his statements. The Russian President answered that he was simply honestly outlining his position.

"I never set out to make things unpleasant. I just say it as it is," Putin explained.

He cited his statements concerning the United States as an example. Putin recalled that the supplies of new American weapons to Ukraine, long-range high-precision systems – Tomahawks – were discussed.

"This will lead to the destruction of our relations, at least of the emerging positive trends in these relations," he said.

The President added: "I say what I think. But how everything will develop depends not only on us and not only on me," he said.

Sablinsky Caves in the Leningrad Region.

The cave entrances are located in the steep banks of the Tosna River. At this point, the river forms a picturesque canyon with steep slopes.

The digging of ten caves began as early as the 18th century. Today, there are a total of 14 catacombs. Finding the passages inside is usually not easy. In most cases, a narrow entrance tunnel leads to a large "hall". From here, smaller passages branch out in different directions. They consist of labyrinths, tunnels, and halls where it is very easy to get lost.

Many mystical legends surround the caves. It is safe here now, and you can see the cave lake, bas-reliefs, and a chapel. The temperature inside is only 8 degrees Celsius. And in winter, thousands of bats live in the caves.
