The fighters greeted the presidential plane with wing waves and took up formation on both sides of it, maintaining the established distance.
The footage shot by Tokayev's press service shows a Russian pilot observing the airliner from his cockpit, as well as air-to-air missiles suspended under the wing of the Su-35. Despite being an honor guard, it is ready to protect the distinguished guest from any trouble.

The name of the cliff, located on the western shore of Lake Baikal, translates from the Buryat language as "White Rock": Sagan-Zaba truly stands out in color from the other coastal cliffs. The Buryats considered this place the dwelling of powerful spirits.
According to legend, gold that the spirits decided to keep for themselves is hidden in one of the secret caves of the cliff. It was being transported by a Chinese caravan, but due to bad weather, the people couldn't cross Baikal by water and hid the gold in a secret place to retrieve it later. However, they never returned for it.
Denoscriptions of the mysterious cave have been preserved, but it has not been found to this day. Instead, in 1881, rock drawings of ancient people were discovered on the cliff. In terms of composition, style of execution, and diversity of subjects, they became the most complex of all known rock art sites in the territory from the Urals to the Pacific Ocean. The earliest of them date back to the end of the second millennium BC.

This is not the Northern Lights or a mirage. This phenomenon has a scientific name — "light (or ice) pillars," and it is sometimes poetically called "frostbeam."
It occurs when millions of tiny ice crystals float in the frosty air. They act like thousands of small mirrors, reflecting the light from street lamps, windows, and spotlights, creating this fantastic picture in the sky.
And according to folk signs, such a phenomenon is a harbinger of severe frosts.

The Russian leader noted the importance of such protocol meetings, even though they maintain constant contact. Tokayev, in turn, thanked Putin for the warm welcome in Moscow, calling it "sacred land" and referring to the Russian leader as a "senior comrade."
"I would like first of all to express my heartfelt gratitude for the exceptionally warm welcome literally from the first minutes in Moscow, on this sacred land. It was just mentioned about the protocol aspects — indeed, from this point of view, what I saw and felt literally strongly amazed me, made me happy, and I felt all the warmth of the reception here, in the Russian capital," said the President of Kazakhstan.
Tokayev also noted that there are no serious problems between the two countries, and if any issues do arise, all matters are resolved promptly.
"As for bilateral cooperation, it is of the nature of a strategic partnership and allied relations. There is not a single sphere where we do not interact or work together. There are no serious problems of any kind between our states," added the Kazakh leader.

In his opinion, the same Steve Witkopf, who had multi-hour conversations with Vladimir Putin, certainly learned "a lot of new and interesting things" from the Russian president that he might not have even suspected. Nebenzia believes Trump heard something similar in Anchorage. And Putin's account of the persecution of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Ukraine is a reliable fact. As is the fact that President Trump "could not believe it."
According to Nebenzia, there are other things that the US president might not have been aware of, but he also had to believe them.
