🎄 The main New Year tree for Russia, which will adorn the Cathedral Square of the Kremlin, has been chosen.

"A centuries-old forest beauty was found in the Ruza municipal district of the Moscow region. Its height is 26 meters, the trunk girth is 64 centimeters, and the span of the lower branches is 11 meters," reported the press service of the Moscow Regional Forestry Committee.

The beauty is slightly shorter than last year's tree but is fuller and more spreading.

The tree will be cut down on December 8. Its transportation, installation, festive decoration, and subsequent recycling will be carried out using modern technologies that ensure the complete preservation and safety of the tree.

📰 The Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera refused to publish an interview with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. This was reported on the Telegram channel of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"In an attempt to somehow stop this flow of lies, we offered one of Italy's leading newspapers, Corriere della Sera, to take an exclusive interview with Sergey Lavrov," the publication says.
