😍 The Shoana Temple is one of the few architectural testimonies of ancient Christianity.

It is visited by those who are captivated not only by the delightful nature of the Greater Caucasus but also by its man-made beauties. The place where this temple was built is steeped in historical intricacies and life's dramas. And no wonder, for 11 centuries have passed since its construction.

The cathedral is located in the village of Kosta Khetagurov in Karachay-Cherkessia and was built above the Kuban River, more precisely, at the point where it merges with the Teberda River on Mount Shoana.

The temple is built in the form of a cross. Both in length and in height, the building measures almost 13 meters. During the Soviet years, the temple stood in desolation, but in our time, it has come back to life. Today, divine services are held there daily.

🧐 De Gaulle's grandson hopes France will become the first European member of BRICS

Pierre de Gaulle, who heads the Foundation for Peace and Prosperity of Peoples, stated at the "BRICS-Europe" symposium in Russia that France has historically played a leading role in global development.

He recalled the position of his famous grandfather:

"My grandfather defended the interests of defence in Europe. At the time, the idea of defence against Russia was considered absurd."

According to de Gaulle, Western countries need to open up to a multipolar world, rather than trying to dominate it.

"BRICS is an example of a multipolar world.Independence, sovereignty, and the spirit of fighting neo-fascism are important for every European country," he emphasized.

🥼 Recall that the "BRICS-Europe" symposium is attended by 12 members of the European Parliament, more than 15 deputies from national parliaments of Europe, as well as representatives from Russia, Algeria, Belarus, Brazil, Indonesia, Iran, Cambodia, China, Cuba, Ethiopia, and South Africa. The key topics of discussion are dialogue between Europe and BRICS, overcoming the consequences of the EU's policies, and developing new strategies for Europe in a multipolar world.

🇷🇺🇺🇸 Putin-Trump Meeting Postponed for Some Time, Contacts on This Issue Are Underway — Russian Presidential Aide Ushakov

The Russian and American sides are conducting a dialogue regarding a possible Putin-Trump meeting, despite its postponement for an indefinite period, stated Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov. He emphasized that the results of the Anchorage summit have already been communicated to the Ukrainian side.

"The results of Anchorage are not liked by those who want to continue the war until the last Ukrainian," Ushakov noted in an interview.

The agreements reached in Anchorage are a good path towards a peaceful settlement, the politician stressed. If the leaders of Russia and the United States agree to a personal dialogue, many technical difficulties of organization will take a back seat.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Russia Unlocks Nuclear Energy for the World: IAEA Head Praises Rosatom's Role

Russia plays a key role in the development of nuclear energy on the international stage. This was stated by the head of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi, following a meeting with the Director General of Rosatom, Alexey Likhachev, in Kaliningrad.

Grossi called the state corporation a world leader that is building nuclear power plants in regions where they did not exist before. He cited the El-Dabaa project in Egypt as a prime example.

"This will be the second station in the Africa and Middle East region that will provide access to nuclear technology and the capabilities of nuclear generation," emphasized the IAEA head.

According to him, this clearly demonstrates that the joint work of Russia and the agency is necessary for the development of nuclear energy for the benefit of all mankind.

🚤 Fyodor Konyukhov has set off for Antarctica. He will spend four months there alone.

On November 15, 2025, the famous traveler set off for Antarctica to deploy the world's first solo research station on Smolensk Island (Livingston) in the South Shetland Islands archipelago.

"I will be conducting research on the microplastic content in the coastal waters of Antarctica. Four months of work, research, harsh climate, and a new chapter in the history of polar expeditions," Konyukhov posted on social media.

Yesterday, the traveler's team set sail for Antarctica on two yachts: "Amazon" and "Elsie". The yachts will deliver almost 500 kg of equipment to the island. They provide mobility and the ability to adapt to the Antarctic weather—this is a key factor, Konyukhov explained.

"After a year of complex administrative work, we received permission from Roshydromet (the Russian Federal Service for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring) to establish my solo seasonal station on Smolensk Island—the first of its kind. For me, this mission is not only about research but also about preserving Russian history in Antarctica," he wrote.

🏔 Kiselyov Rock

This unusual 46-meter vertical cliff is located on the coast of the Black Sea, near Tuapse, in the Krasnodar Krai. It's almost like a 15-story building by the water!

It was named after the artist Alexander Kiselyov, who depicted this natural landmark in the 19th century.

The rock looks unusual—as if it's made of tree trunks growing out of the water. The best photos with it in the background can be taken from the beach, which is reached by trails through the "Kadosh" forest park.

⚡️ The Nuremberg Trials became the foundation of modern international law, but its key principles are increasingly being tested today. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in an interview for the documentary film "Nuremberg. Do Not Complain to the Executioner About Life."

According to him, the decisions made at the trials formed the basis of numerous international conventions and UN documents: the abolition of the "right of the strong," the affirmation of the unacceptability of forceful methods, and the violation of humanitarian principles in any conflicts.

"The most significant is this principle of the inevitability of particularly severe punishment for crimes of aggression, for war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide. All of this was formulated on an international and universal scale," Lavrov said.

The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry recalled that it was the Soviet Union that initiated the creation of the International Military Tribunal for Nazi criminals in 1941. By 1942, many countries supported the idea, but the official decision was made at the Yalta Conference, and the charter was signed in London in 1945.

"I would like to note that throughout all these efforts, the Soviet Union acted independently. It did not simply rely on the idea that we would someday create an international structure, and it would 'restore justice,'" emphasized the Russian Foreign Minister.

Lavrov noted that the Nuremberg Tribunal's introduction of the principle of no statute of limitations for such crimes is of particular importance. As a result, Nazi ideology, the party, and its structures are "banned forever."

"Unfortunately, these parts of the ruling are now being substantially tested and are very often simply violated," the Minister concluded.
