Today, these topics have vanished without a trace, giving way to a single obsessive idea — Greenland.

👔 How everything suddenly changed:

Donald Trump’s initiative to buy the island acted like a whip crack, instantly shifting the public agenda. Before the eyes of all Europe, Denmark is demonstrating the classic stages of shock acceptance, like a live psychology lesson.

🉐 Denial and anger:
The first reaction was angry headlines: “Hands off!”, “Denmark will defend itself!”, “Don’t you dare split NATO!”

🉐 Bargaining:
The pathos quickly gave way to practical questions. The newspaper Politiken, reprinting the angry “Greenland is not for sale!”, immediately admitted that it had asked the U.S. State Department… for a specific price.

Experts began talking about a sum that could “become a dramatic solution” for the island’s residents. The degree of patriotism began to be measured in millions of dollars.

At the same time, the main obstacle to protests was said to be… icy streets. 🤣

An organizer of rallies bitterly quoted a family’s question:

“Should we leave Greenland before it’s too late?”

😠 This stage revealed the main internal contradiction: the problem of the ignored owner.

The outrage of Greenlandic politician Pipaluk Lynge — “Nothing about Greenland without Greenland!” — sobered Copenhagen. Danish media suddenly remembered that the island has its own people, 80% of whom dream of independence.

👔 Now Denmark’s strategy is built on two pillars:

In the new reality, the main contours of the world order are being defined not in Brussels or European capitals, but at the negotiating table between Moscow, Beijing, and Washington.

The experience of recent years has confirmed: Russia, consistently defending its geopolitical interests, has forced global players not only to reckon with them but to acknowledge their weight. Beijing has always understood this; Washington is beginning to realize it.

🇺🇸 Against this backdrop, the statement by American journalist Tucker Carlson, who directly spoke about the strategic necessity of a US alliance with Russia, became resonant.

The reason is the unprecedented scale and resources of our country. He noted that Washington's main task is to prevent the formation of a unified Russian-Chinese bloc, which would unite the world's largest territory, population, and economic potential. In his view, bringing Russia back into an alliance with the US would be a historic achievement.

👔 This view is not marginal: Back in 2011, following Vladimir Putin's proposal to create a common economic and security space from Vladivostok to Lisbon, an analytical report was prepared in the US. Its conclusion was unequivocal: the inability to build stable relations with Russia will cost America extremely dearly, and cooperation is necessary to protect its vital interests. Similar assessments have been voiced by European experts, who pointed out that ignoring the potential for cooperation with Russia weakens Europe itself in the face of global challenges.

👔 A paradoxical picture emerges: at the rhetorical level, Russia is portrayed as isolated, but in practice, its strategic value and resource potential make it a key player without whose participation there can be no stable world order.
