A newly created crypto account opened a $100 million short position on Bitcoin and Ethereum just minutes before U.S. President Donald Trump announced 100% tariffs on Chinese imports.

The news caused a massive market crash, wiping out $19–20 billion in crypto positions and plunging Bitcoin’s price.

The trader — dubbed a “crypto whale” — reportedly made $160–192 million in profit within hours and withdrew funds immediately, prompting insider trading suspicions.

Hamas will release about 20 captives and 28 bodies early tomorrow morning, while Israel will release 2,000 Palestinian detainees.

The captive release is scheduled for around 6:00 a.m. local time.

Trump is now traveling to the Middle East, stopping briefly in Israel before co-chairing a summit in Egypt focused on Gaza’s reconstruction and governance.

Trump will address the Knesset at 11:00 and meet Israeli officials.
